- Experience two days in the life of an airline pilot. Airbus A320 captain explains flight related topics to everyone who is passionate about aviation and whose goal is to become an airline pilot one day. Airbus A320 cockpit checks and preparation, pushback, startup, taxi, takeoff, cruise, approach, landing, walkaround and crewlife. Basically, everything airline pilots go through during two days at work.
This is an Airbus A320 pilot´s POV documentary. Be part of the crew on a two day trip and take the jumpseat for six take-offs and landings.

Awesome video, great camera work, great editing and music selection. Maybe my only comment would be the rather tight, robotic and very slow narration, that sounds a bit "read off a script" and doesn't quit hold up to the rest of this otherwise very professional production (in my opinion). Other than that, fantastic documentation and interesting infos, thanks!

I 've always wanted to be pilot , but me hearing loss wont let me not even PPL!.. I have studied a lot in my life about aircraft systems (Airbus, Boeing),Meteorology, Aviation Charts. I use Flight Simulator with maximum realism as possible and study level aircrafts and keep going.

Super Video - sehr schön die Abläufe gezeigt! Und danke für den temperature correction refresher - auch wenn wir es während unserer Flüge dank des spanischen Klimas de facto nie brauchen, ist es natürlich dafür ein wichtiger Teil am Simulator 🥶
Wie würde die Koordination in diesem Fall mit ATC aussehen - nur eine kurze Absprache, dass die Höhen korrigiert sind?
Und dein armer FO hat auf dem 3. Flug einen INOP Sticker am MCDU, oder? 😂
Vielen Dank! Ja, die correction ist in der Winter-Ops zu berücksichtigen. Dass man FPA oder das Minimum korrigiert interessiert ATC nicht, aber die MSA oder GA-Altitude schon. Man teilt es dann einfach mit indem man sagt, dass man in case of missed approach z.B. auf 3200ft statt 3000ft steigen würde. Ja, gut gesehen 😉 MEL item 😉 VG

I'm about to graduate from high school (11th grade) and really want to become a pilot. However, it does not look really promising on the market. Although I already have a SPL (glider) and a SPL TMG PIC (motorglider) license. Even through the Pilot Expo I didn't really get any new ideas for a safe (takeover guarantee, "attractive" financing) training with an airline. Currently I have the Cadet program at "Wizz Air" in mind. I come from Germany so a training in the vicinity would be best, but of course it is not a prerequisite. Does anyone (pilot, enthusiast, student pilot, @PilotWanderlust etc.) have any ideas? 🥲😵💫

Hallo Tobi! Schön, dass du schon mal mit dem Fliegen in deiner Freizeit angefangen hast! Meine Ausbildung war vor 20 Jahren und da sah es natürlich ganz anders aus. Daher bin ich nicht auf dem neusten Stand diesbezüglich, welche Optionen es aktuell so gibt… Ich fliege jetzt häufiger mit neuen, jungen Copiloten, welche von der EFA kommen. Von daher würde ich meinen, sollte das deine erste Wahl nach dem Abitur sein. Andere airlines haben oder hatten zumindest auch ihre Partner-Flugschulen. Auch wenn es heute deutlich weniger airlines gibt, gibt es trotzdem einen hohen Bedarf an Piloten, der in den nächsten Jahren noch zunehmen dürfte. Ich wünsche dir auf dem Weg dahin alles Gute!
