Hey from Western Canada Philip! I typically follow three tournament Kayakers but I'm caught up so I need someone to follow. I accidentally came upon you so I watched your latest video and subscribed. If you enjoy yourself I suspect I'll enjoy your work. I don't bass fish, I am, in my dotage, a fly fisher when it comes to trout, then plastics for Northern Pike and Walleye. How long have you fished the Delta? Two of the three I follow live right around it I have learned a lot from them. The only thing I don't tolerate is abuse to any fish. What I mean is that some of the leaders in tournaments will never have me follow them, because if they catch a fish say a pike, that doesn't qualify, some guys use them like a javelin or football and just chuck them around rather than just release them. Other than that, just stay safe. Your kayak should handle 15 mph wind but I don't know what you are comfortable with. I enjoyed your pre-fish! You did well, but as Mine Ioconelli says, "You can't fish yesterday's bite. I hope you video your tournament!!
Yes, most of the launch ramps in the delta are privately owned. The only launch that I never paid is Barge Access in West Sac and Consumes River Preserve.
That question reminds me of the time a buddy and I did a free launch off the levee near Mildred Island. We didn't know it wasn't allowed. Farmer was pissed and had a gun on him 👀 He called the cops on us.

What kind of battery and battery box are you using for your trolling motor and where do you have it located?
I run the Bioenno 24v 50ah- Its the most compact out of all the other brands and right behind my seat.

Unless you are in a Wakesurf boat - go by on pad you create a much smaller wake (A Yak guy).
