Unfortunately I don’t think so. They’re likely to reject it on non essential grounds. It looks like grounds they accept are economic in nature (work related) or health (medical, death, etc).

When she will be here she will get the resident permit card (visa card) for 2 years. She is also got masters studies which is going to start from 04 October. Does she need MTP? What documents could be helpful for her to make application more effective? Your guidance is greatly helpful.
Hmm since it’s her first time using it I do think she’ll need a MTP. They have exemptions for those long term pass holders or those on visa who are not first timers. No harm applying since it seems like she has all the required docs to get approval :) if she doesn’t need it, theyll send a “rejection” saying that MTP isn’t required.
Thank you for the video, can you advice on what's the best way to compress all the files and to have it still readable ? there was 7 documents required for my spouse to come into malaysia. 250 kb for all the documents. Ive tried compressing many times and the documents were either ineligible or just simply too big.. would really appreciate your advice
@@talkatiffy thanks for the reply. yeah did that but the file was not legible after that. realised that it was better to convert it to jpeg, smaller size and so much clearer.. hope the pass gets approved 🙏🏻

I think that’s going to be quite difficult 😔 Perhaps you can contact his country’s embassy in Malaysia and ask them?

Oh entering Malaysia doesn’t require an application for Malaysians. :)

This is an “exit pass”, so for Malaysians, coming back doesn’t require a pass :)

Well first time students do need to apply for MTP. If you have the visa, shouldn't be too difficult to get approval! :)

Exit Sarawak also need ?? I'm work pass at Singapore, currently back to Sawarak to bring my son to Sg, need to apply exit Sarawak ??
My understanding is that this applies throughout the whole of Malaysia!

Travel pass is to leave the country, if you’re in India, you’ll need permission to enter Malaysia. Those are under different rules :)

Haha I used ilovepdf I think, it was a free compression tool. Then after compressing once, I compressed again 😅
Open the PDF file in Adobe Acrobat, save as other -> Reduced size PDF
