- Ever wondered how much work is involved to build a custom 1/18 scale model of a real car? Watch this to find out. This custom model took over 70 hours to build from start to finish, and used a Hotwheels Elite Ferrari 360 spider as a base.

Did you make the liberty walk kit or did you buy it from somewhere?
It clearly shows in this video that I made the LB kit out of Tamiya putty and plastic sheet.

Awesome work !! Could you share how you do the carbon effect cause it's really stunning !
The carbon effect is just by using carbon fiber decals. I have a Tutorial video on how to apply carbon decals in the 'How To' Playlist.

Hey, Amazing work! I bought a 360 from hot wheels and most supplies, but how do you attach the wheels to the chassis? wouldnt the suspension have to be wider? If so, what axles/suspension do you use?

Robs Replicas was my brand of custom models I used to sell, but not any more after legal action from Ferrari. Despite the fact I made and sold only a few models, and other companies in Asia make thousands. The name plates on my custom models is just for me now.

Hi Tim, Yes, BBR make 1/12 versions of the 488 GTB. Look on their website BBRmodelstore.com or check around on the net at model shops or ebay

@@ROBSMODELCARS hey rob what do you use for the fender flares? and where do you get 18th scale parts?
@@garrettburrows442 I use Tamiya 2 part putty (smooth type) to make the flares. I sculpt it to the closest shape, then lots of sanding to get the final shape. 1/18 parts I get from many suppliers, but here is a list of a few for you.

Nice car but it’s not entirely hand made as the plaque suggests. It’s hand modified. Hand made suggests it’s scratch built.
