Truth. Crack open that KJV with prayerful intent. Block all other distractions and pray that the Lord will meet you there. He will lead you in the way you should go. The scriptures says “put no confidence in the flesh”. That means anyone’s flesh, not even your own. When I was in my 20’s and saved, we had a tendency to run to the Pastor for advice before running first to Jesus and seeking a word from the HG. My frmr pastor back then was extremely knowledgeable but he was not God. I accepted advice that he gave which caused problems for the next 40 yrs. He meant well. He was a good man, but the advice was ill-advised. We are all human. I second guess myself. “Was that my voice I heard or the Holy Spirit”? I pray about everything and wait for His confirmation. If it is contrary to God’s word and the principles of the Kingdom, I leave it alone. I’ve been studying his word most of my life. Was saved according to Acts 2:38 as a teenager. Much of what I’ve come to know did not come from Preachers, but from the Holy Ghost as he gave me understanding of the word through discernment and a lifetime pursuit. I also do not glorify men. The Apostles never allowed people to put them on pedestals . They were humble, and our examples of true holiness. Just saying.. I’m too old (74) to play around with these youngsters who love being glorified and praised. God will not allow His praise to be given to mere men. This year 2024 there will be some divine correction in many of these American assemblies.

I desire to be baptized the correct way. I have a wound from a rare cancer in my back, and I can't get it wet. I pray that I heal so I can go down in water the right way. Was first baptized when I was 9 and didn't understand. I'm almost 58 and because of Pastor Jennings I am learning the right way and unlearning all the foolishness I've been taught. My family thinks I'm crazy because I follow Jennings, they say I'm following a cult 😂😭 funny but very sad. Mom thinks she's an ordained preacher but there's no such thing! I'm learning and growing please pray for me believers. I have issues with cursing or cussing and I smoke weed! I am praying for these things to leave my presence I desire to meet the LORD!!
My dear Sister.. I hope you can receive this word of wisdom. Baptism alone will not remit sin from your record. Acts 2:38 explicitly says to Repent first. Repentance is not the same as confession or admission of one’s sin. Repentance is to be contrite and sorrowful for one’s sins with the commitment never to return to them. When that is done, then comes Baptism in His Name and when those two things are done then the Holy Ghost Will come and reside in your born again spirit. Also please know this; that your body - the house you live in - is not the real you. Your flesh is not saved and is not yet glorified. The HG gives the power to control your flesh. As you grow in Christ those things that previously had you bound will not have power over you. As far as cussing, etc, Apostle said that he brings his body under subjection daily to the will of God (I paraphrase) . Please Do not disregard your family’s caution. They care about you. If your mother has met the criteria of salvation and loves the Lord - even if she has limited knowledge of Acts 2:38 - who knows how the Lord is using her. In your mom’s defense, the scriptures that people like Mr Jennings use against women is ministry; have been grossly misunderstood, taken out of context, and misappropriated. Paul had fellow laborers in the faith that were women. If you read Acts, you’ll read about Priscilla. There are others in the body of Christ who also agree with these words and have concerns about what this assembly erroneously asserts. … Seek the Lord. Just you and him. Maybe fast one day a week, pray and read His Word. I suggest you begin in Joel 2:28 then go right into the book of Acts. Only a suggestion. Jesus is Lord, not any man… Honor your mother. Amen

Just asking - but why isn’t the first part of Acts 2.38 Never mentioned …ever? Without Repentance, water baptism (even in Jesus name) is invalid. The Lord recognizes the truly repentant and contrite heart FIRST, then Baptism in His Name, then the promise of the Holy Ghost. If all these people have never repented first, their Baptisms become only religious exercises with no Holy Ghost power.
Pastor,that day when you announce that oh my goodness as soon as Prayer was done, we shot right over to that restaurant and it was full. A lot of people were there and the food was definitely good. It was a really good time in Valdosta service was wonderful and the food was good. And the hotel wasn’t really bad. The price of the hotel was very affordable.

God was working with me about what they have teach me and I have beleave for 45yrs that everthing was not the thruth and I stared to rebuke and said Oh God what Im going to do and came up to UA-cam and saw you and I listen to you and you was saying the same words that I was listening and since that day I listen the word of God by you. He told me why they silence women in the church. I then ask him about divorcing I would like for you to speak with him because I can’t explain it the way he did. I would like for you to speak to him he will shed some light on your message.
