If you like to drag race. These dunes are great. There is a lot to explore but for full on duning it's ok. The area on the back side is about it. If you don't mind noise camping at the mountain is great. Personally oasis is the best. Reasonably quiet and not to much of a ride from the fun stuff.

Yes! Right on with the camping! Ha ha. The mountain is rowdy at Night! So If you like it quiet Oasis is the camping area to choose!

The water is on year-round, and they have a kiosk there to purchase tickets and season passes at the Visitor Center. Also at the flushable toilets in oasis are gone now.
