The best ever Smith solo in my opinion followed by aces high then 2 mins to midnight...been wanting to play this since I was 14 (46now), no excuses now haha
One of the best Maiden’s solo ever We don’t need 10.000 notes to make a great solo, but the good ones. I would like to go to the concert right now!!!!!
Absolutely superb even at 60% this is still so full of feel and melody...time to look out the Killers album again and give it a spin! Brilliant as always Steph
I must thank you so much, Steph! You can't imagine how much. Learning and playing Iron Maiden solos was for me a gigantic dream. And now I'm realizing it thank to your great and accurate videos that have in them all I need. Again, thank you a lot!
I like to think I’ve got a pretty good and fussy ear and some of the phrasing is tricky (second lick) but I hear it exactly the same. Perfection Steph. Cheers and up the Irons 🎸🇨🇦
Amazeballs! You're slightly ahead of the beat whilst Adrian is slightly behind which makes the solo flow better as the picked notes won't interfere with the drum hits as much.
Nice, I'll be patient. A suggestion, could you please add to your list the solos of the song "Strange world"?, I have no idea if both the first and 2nd solos are from Dave Murray. Thanks in advance, up the irons!!
Hi there. Thanks so much for this fantastically amazing lesson ! I’m really having trouble nailing the blues lick at 1:23 using the tab. Any advice welcome !
Hi, thanks for tab and backing tracks, I wanted to ask you, do you think in the originsle recording, does Adrian use a wha in the part that goes from 0:33 to 0:38?
I already knew only a few of them, and sometimes not note for note. And actually, I have already recorded #33 today, but I don't want to post more than one solo per week xD
One of my all time favourite solos
This has always been one of my favourite Adrian Smith solos ever, love it

I think this is Adrian's most sensational solo of all time
I think the best Adrian's solo is the one in Stranger in a strange land.
This is one of the most epic songs in the universe...
Good Lord... great job on the dissection of the solo!!!!!!!
Thanks!
So many great Maiden solos. This is my favorite.

I agree with you so much about the amount of notes to play in a solo!

Amazeballs! You're slightly ahead of the beat whilst Adrian is slightly behind which makes the solo flow better as the picked notes won't interfere with the drum hits as much.
Prodigal Steph! :D
:D :D
Crazy AWESOME job! Love it!!!!
Thank you!
Please please do the Dave Murray´s solo part too...very well done my friend!
Thanks! I will but you'll have to be patient :D

I take note about that one too. The intro solo is played by Dennis Stratton, the one in the middle of the song is Dave's.
Hi there. Thanks so much for this fantastically amazing lesson !
I’m really having trouble nailing the blues lick at 1:23 using the tab. Any advice welcome !
Thanks. I don't know what to say as it's a common pentatonic lick. Do you know well the first position of the minor pentatonic scale?
StephLeGratteux I’m fine with pentatonic scales, I think it’s more just the phrasing. More practice needed ! Thanks.
@@potheadpixi I see, probably because of the thirty-second notes which are not so usual, right?
wow
Hi, thanks for tab and backing tracks,
I wanted to ask you, do you think in the originsle recording, does Adrian use a wha in the part that goes from 0:33 to 0:38?
In the original recording, the tone is a bit different during this part, so yeah he's probably using a wah
👌
Another great one. How can you manage to get such a close sound? Thank you.
Thanks. I don't know, I just found a good preset on Guitar Rig 3 :D
whats the tuning maybe i missed it. great job thank you
standard tuning
superbe....
merci
Top
please do moonchild that solo is amazing
I will, but in a couple of months
Nice job! Do you make your own backing tracks?
Thanks. Sometimes I use the bass and drums tracks from the collabs, but for this one the drums is from a midi guitar pro file, and I played the bass
Awesome work my friend :)) :)) !!! \m/ \m/

I already knew only a few of them, and sometimes not note for note. And actually, I have already recorded #33 today, but I don't want to post more than one solo per week xD
thats great i just subscribed, adrian smith is my favorite guitar player because of his melodies and thanks for helping me learn the solos :)
