    Thanks, this is exactly what I was looking for!
    How many reps and how many timed intervals would you recommend?

    • @JohnJayne
      @JohnJayne  2 роки тому +2

      EMOMs can work really well, aiming to increase reps per minute by 1-2 each week, starting anywhere from 5-10 reps per minute. I usually do 10 mins but you can vary that as well.
      Timed intervals work well too, it really depends on the weight and what you can do. I usually go fro 1-2 mins if doing timed intervals but shorter or longer also works.
      The main thing is to track progress week to week. Whether that’s increasing sets, reps, weight, length of time, decreasing rest times etc.
      I hope that helps!

    I see that you are using 15kg bag, but may I know the size of your bag? The only size I see on their website is L with 15kg. Is this what you are using?

    I'd pay good money for a man with that haircut to swing me like a bulgarian bag

    I want to get one bulgarian bag, I also train judo, but I don't know how much weight would be great for me, what weight do you recommend for a -63kg judoka?

    • @JohnJayne
      @JohnJayne  3 роки тому +1

      Suples.com has a sizing chart to help decide a starting weight, which I recommend taking a look at. It looks like they recommend around 10kg as a good starting point for women who are already active.
      There are also some off brand Bulgarian bags that are much cheaper if you are a little tentative in buying your first bag. And if the bag feels a bit too heavy starting out, I have a video on the Bulgarian Bag swing (which I’ll probably remake in future) that has a lot of progressions into the swing that should be helpful.
      Let me know if you have any other questions.
