Dimash has a truly extraordinary instrument and the ability to use that instrument with complexity, nuance and depth of emotion. But listen to his lyrics. Not only does he understand the variety of human experiences, he shows us how also to transcend them. I swear this guy knows philosophy, psychology, and quantum physics, as well as every genre of music. He also knows how to use his body in performance and fills his space on stage like sculpture come to life, using the mike and props and dance with complete awareness of his physicality and its effects. I have never experienced this level of performance encompassing every aspect possible. Lucky to be alive to enjoy this phenomenon. Pray some day to be able to see him in concert. He did say he reads books on philosophy. Dimash is very intelligent and educated young man, knowing history of religions, having wide cultural view point, etc. Music wise he simply is a genius. I still believe he could gain some from living in the West at least for a period of time. But he has the whole Kazakhstan on his shoulders.😄😄

Maybe you know him as Captain Kirk from Star Trek😅. The film is called Creators - The Past written by Piergiuseppe Zaia. In order to get the right singer for the title, his team searched the internet for the best voice and googled Dimash. He wrote to him and needed 3 different singers to show Dimash how he wanted the song to be. A bariton, a tenor and a soprano because no one could sing this song alone. Dimash listened and said yes.
