Just bought mine ! Pain in the ass trying to order them while living in California, ended up having my sister order them for me and delivered to her house in Washington . Can't wait to get them on .
I just wish someone would make a reliable cam phaser for the 3.5. So many trucks have the rattle and ford just replaces them with the same part. The aftermarket needs to come up with a proper fix and it would be a huge hit.
It really sucks that brewcityboost is permanently closed. I had an appt set up with them last year to go big turbo then got the email from Casey that they are closing their shop operations and only doing ecommerce sales going forward. Would have loved to have met them and got a chance to get brew city boosted. RIP BCB 😔
I'm no expert by any means...but....on the passenger side, how does the larger inlet tube benefit when it's still being funneled into the small turbo inlet? It's like cramming highway traffic into a single lane road....right? The vid even shows the drop-down coupler installed at the end of the inlet tube. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled to see this as I own a tuned 2.7L...just curious.
Just ordered so excited I’ve been waiting for so long cause the factory tubes are so restrictive I can’t wait!!!!!! Currently pushing 450 out of my 2.7 but hopefully can pick up some better numbers after that is the stage 4 CR performance turbos to see if I can push over 600
There is a youtuber by the name of Scarface Ruben. In a video of his La Karen dyno, he got around 530 to the rear wheels with a 2.7 and bolt ons and tune. Its an 18+ F150
@@JDMWork i dont own an ecoboost but im a fan of them. They have so much potential. I drove a 2020 2.7 for over a month cc 2wd and fell in love with it. I raced all the chevys i could and enjoyed smoking them.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but increasing air flow to the turbo over stock does nothing to directly increase HP due to the computer controlled regulating. This would then require a tune to actually see any HP gain wouldn't it?
You may see very small gains on a stock truck but as stated in the video with Miles, a calibration is where you will see the biggest difference. These tubes also allow the turbos to work less hard to make the same power. So reliability and efficiency increase.
The intake sound is great with these at medium torquey RPMs on my 3.5 Raptor. The right one is a bit of a pain to get in the correct position partly because the boot is so sticky. Little baby powder goes a long way in helping it find it’s spot.

So maybe you can help me understand. I’ve been on the fence, whether cold air intakes work or not. You have fans on this F150 on this Dino, so in the real world when it’s hot outside, it’s not in taking cold air. I live in Texas where it’s hot at least eight months out of the year in this hot climate. Where does the cold air come from? Thanks,
The dyno fans are comparable to real-world airflow from driving. They aren't cooled and are just recirculating the ambient air temperature. Cold air intakes aren't necessarily pulling in "cold" air, but they are pulling in cooler air compared to OEM intakes. They're designed to be separated from the heat emitting off of the engine by using heatshields, and instead just pulling from more ambient air temperatures.
Interested in these… however:.. I have a k&n air intake on my 3.5 eco now and it trips the check engine light constantly with air system codes. I was told return to factory air box is only remedy
If you change the intake it needs to be tuned for it. You either need to put the stock intake back on or get a tune. I would do it before you damage your engine.
I've had mine for over a year now on my 2019 2.7L and I'm still getting the P04F0 code. I know the code doesn't affect performance, but the MIL is annoying. I have sent several emails back and forth to the customer service team and never really got a solid answer. I've seen on the forums that the newer ones are sent out with a set of hoses at no extra charge. How can I get a set of these hoses to see if this will fix it? Is there someone I can email directly to get a better than a generic answer? I have a complete thread on RaptorForums that documents every step I have taken to try to stop the code from surfacing with no luck. Thanks for any help you can offer.
These should theoretically help with gas mileage as they increase efficiency .. with a turbo charged engine consider it an big air pump you air in and out as fast as possible with least restrictions. Meaning true turbo back straight pipe , charge pipes like these , add and intake and a tune and you should have a very well breathing set up which is what forced induction likes .. that’s “race” vehicles usually have a dumped exhaust and “screen” or filter directly to the turbo when running speed density . @@ThisJustInMusic2011 so in a nutshell yes they fit but very tight. You have add a vac port to the passenger side tube and then block off unused ports in the driver side.
