Hey Roger, I hope you liked the videos. I chose an SUV mainly because of the fuel costs being a bit cheaper and such. I'd love a bigger 4wd but it wasn't quite in the budget. The frame of the set up in the car wasn't that expensive as it is just a bunch of 2x4 and some flat pack shelving and plywood. It's not perfect but it does the job. The expensive things were the fridge, power station, solar panel, awning and roof rack, which probably totalled 2 grand (NZD) roughly. Those are all luxury items though and aren't 100% necessary. I had all of my windows cracked, and the door open so I'd say it was safe. If I do more cooking in my car I will definitely be looking into a carbon monoxide detector! Cheers
