@@susanlee298 That is why it is best not to have an intimate partner. Friends and romantic interests are nothing but low level invaders, un yiur life today. They are dangerous to have in your life. I learns this the hard way and will not be attempting to have any in the future. Nobody needs friends and romantic interests as they exist today. My sister is 2 years older than me. She has always hated me and had to be the center of everything. Even now that she's married and her kids are growing up, they move away and want nothing to do with her. But when our dad passed, she horded his ashes and gave them, in little urns, to her children who had no real connection to him. I had to fight with her for a year to get an urn. It's small and I am fairly certain she has a bigger one that she is keeping to herself.

@@rhythmannblues1182 Sounds like you have CPTSD, complex traumatic stress due to an abusive relationship from childhood. I feel you. This causes great suffering unless directly addressed with compassion, of course. There are resources now for this. I was in functional freeze for most of my life due to an abusive mother. When she died, my nervous system "decided" to free all the intense emotions I had stuffed over a lifetime. I had no idea what was happening to me for over a year until I discovered how the nervous system manages suppressed emotions. Not easy. You seem to be aware of what is causing your distress. That's a good first step. Find a therapist who is trained in trauma-focused modalities. It's hard work, but it is the only way to escape conditioned survival habits. Good luck! (And never mind the others who judge and shame you for not just "letting it go", as if that would actually "help" anyone.)

@@Coniungere I ceased all interpersonal, social, interactions on the 8th of August 2000 at 18:34. The incredible amounts of negative results that were being produced by attempting to be social were overwhelming when compared to the meager positives I was getting from interpersonal, social, connections and bonds. Finding so much harm in being social, I deleted that aspect of my life entirely. In one month, my life was tremendously better. In one year, I could not conceive of ever attempting to make friends with anybody nor finding a girlfriend. In two years, I astounded myself with all I had accomplished with the enormous amounts of free time I had to study, build, and create things I never thought I could do. In three years, I found out that I did not need anybody, even to move. My entire life has improved immeasurably because of terminating social interactions and associations. Isolation has unlocked abilities that I did not know I had. I am also tremendously healthier, more alert, and have far more energy. I even learned English, on my own. I can not justify returning to becoming a slave to social herds again.

I have to be straight forward with everyone. Because I hate liars and anyone who tries to deceive me in any way at all. And that's why I refuse to deceive anyone else. Because I don't give a crap if they get that one tiny feeling that they have left, hurt. That's their problem for being deceivers and telling lies. But if they lie about me, I'm more than happy to make a truthful source of them, just to set an example. It's just in my Nature to do so.

During COVID TIME in 2020, I discovered that I was alone (each man for him). I was left to deal with the COVID symptoms by myself… the few people who contacted me, wanted me to fix their money problems. When I said I didn’t have it, they disappeared… i realized what was important to me (my children who were not ready to be on their own yet). So I cried to God Almighty, no I can’t die yet, my children need me.
I prayed and read the Holy Bible like I never did before. Within 3 days the symptoms disappeared. My life was saved so I could take care of the important things… Guide, direct my children, and teach them about the Lord Jesus Thank you Lord. Amen

A family member I love destroyed my trust in peoples yet I keep forgiving her ( my sister) she is jealous of any success I have. I make friends easily she doesn’t and this makes her jealous. When young she would always get me into trouble with parents my father was a drunk, and would beat me on lie’s my sister would tell. Today I’m 60 and she’s 63 yet she still causes trouble and is jealous of any success I have. Yet I love her but don’t like her.

if only everyone chose to think of this little piece of wisdom to heart before speaking or taking action, not disregard these words of wisdom of wisdom or twist the descriptions provided for respect with those given for disrespect to suit there need to not feel guilty for under-minding that they aren't the only ones capable of felling emotional pain or joy or moods dictated by emotions that are naturally everchanging at all times consistently with a person's emotions despite some people's choice to act as if they have no connection to be influenced by the other as if it is easy to be in a good or positive mood while feeling the emotions pain and sorrow regardless the degree or strongly the person is feeling the emotion

There is usually a reason why a person has to become narcissistic. And the people around them who supposed to be taken care of in supporting them doesn’t do their job… something has to break, usually.
When a person learns a young age, they are the only one that cares about them, truly (I say truly, because a lot of parents equate time, love, and attention with giving a child everything he/she wants. This is just as bad as denying necessities: neglect. It is the same coin different sides.)
The propensity to develop narcissism is inherited. So a full-blown narcissist is created both by nature and nurture (or rather lack of nurture).
