@@altritzy6713 mr salles is quite good because he shows how to write like a grade 7+ student Essay practice is key I used this method in my exams per paragraph point evidence explain evidence explain POINT- I would start of a sentence where the character is being used like a tool e.g Shakespeare powerfully presents lady Macbeth as a construct in order to explore… EVIDENCE you NEED to EMBED quotation’s and show a bit of the novel/play E.g In act 1 scene 5, Lady Macbeth becomes deeply obsessed with becoming a queen and she try’s to get rid of her feminine role when she begs the supernatural power to “unsex me here” EXPLAIN- Try to start off with a language feature e.g start of with Shakespeare uses the x or you can start of by saying the adjective the verb and maybe include readers thoughts and writers intentions in the same sentence Seeing as many essays is key and practicing I was getting 9s at the end but the question in my exam screwed me but I’m still grateful for my progression even though I’m not an English fan
This really is a really underated channel, well i hope it stays this way as grade boundaries would seriously be higher if everyone knew you haha :) but THANK YOU SO MUCH, pushed my grade from 4 to 7 in november mocks compared to last years
