- The ultimate planted aquariums light for less than $70.
In this video, I'm going to show you where you can buy the TCP-LED light for your aquarium that puts out 11,000 luminous output. The light has a five-year manufactures guarantee and will last 50,000 hours. This particular light is equal to a 400 W metal halide, but only uses 60 W of power and does not get nearly hot as a 400 W metal halide does.
Good to know
Hello Dr. Novak,
Thank you for the lighting information . I really would appreciate your sharing information on the stainless steel light mount attachment featured on one of your tanks. The mount that has two hanging pedants on it.
Great suggestion! Will do.
Hello, will these lights promote max photosynthesis like your radion?
Absolutely and a fraction of the cost.
Have you tried the cheap 5700k led flood lights for growing aquarium plants? You can get them for around 10 bucks.
You don’t need a ballast?
How much heat do they put out? Are the metal can fixtures too hot to touch?
A metal halide bulb gets up to 300 to 400° and these get up to about maybe 130°.
Lady is using AI HD16 led lights for 275 each.
They look like they were expensive in at $275 each then I was right.
It is non-dimmable. That is a problem!
You're absolutely right it is a non-dimmable lightbulb.
Dr Novak may I have your contact details to ask for some
Assistance on a new build ? Ps thanks for all the videos!

Thank you!
Wow 😮🤯
Dr, you don’t need a ballast?
Nope, the bulbs are plug-in play they take 110 AC current like all LEDs do. Therefore, if you buy one of the fixtures for halide bulbs, you do not have to buy the ballast with it.
Hello Dr Novac,
I'm John, a Brit living in Portugal.
I'm just setting up a tank and am really interested in the TCP bulb.
However, our power supply over here in Europe is 240 volts, so my question is, will a lamp made for a 110 supply in the USA work over here in Europe?
Many thanks for all the great info in your posts
There's a phone number that I show you should call them and ask the people if it is compatible.
Ok, thank you.
