I was there at this event (Bangalore Literature Festival 2017) and Sardesai tried really hard to make Dravid say something controversial. Probably wanted to get free promotion for his book from the media coverage it would’ve got. But Dravid was as dignified as ever and answered his questions really well.
This man is legend. What a clarity of thoughts and how beautifully he put them just like his batting. He is one of the greatest ambassador of the game for me.
He was so burned that he was drinking water every 10 secs!!

I was invited for his retirement press conference in March 2012. His dad had come, so too Vijeta with kids. When the younger baby started crying, she walked out of the press conference . She sat amidst audience and never showed off that she is Dravid's wife. Great culture like good edifice is built on strong foundation.
