there are 2 types of videos posted on youtube, one type is by people who believe the videos content, will at least in part, be of benefit to others, the second is by people who want to reveal just enough information to elevate their self anointed position of superiority without providing anything that will actually be of help to others… thanks for showing off!

A credit to you good job. I had a buggy with a 750 Honda Boldor Engine. The guy who built it fitted Bongo Van rear axles but the weak link was the rear sprocket sheared under full throttle.

AWESOME *VIDEO, EDITING, MUSIC, AND PIRANHA!*
Seriously man, I love how symmetrical and light (but sturdy) it is, and with that 1000f engine performance has to be insane. I bet you can take off faster than the actual bike with two wheels putting power down! *(Do you change gears with the pedals?)*

video is good, allot of info, but the music was so distracting I had to mute the audio.
like to hear a narrator explain the expedited process in the video muck more than, the music. in a word.. distracting

I don't exactly have an engineering degree or anything, but, aren't those front struts too short and/or too thin? The back looks like it would survive some extreme stuff, and the front looks like it would under perform. I think they are normally taller at least. Again not an expert, just very curious.
I'm not knocking it, the thing looks awesome and that engine would give hundreds of smiles an hour. Suggestion, perhaps look into some downforce. If it is meant for fast street driving, you would definitely increase your lateral g's. Those long struts help the wheels hook up too.

First i have to say Thatcher you build an awsome vehicle. I watch the Video many times. but I got one question. Did You use the left pedal for clutch and the right for Gas? Breaks and shift by Hand?

There is no way you can get four years of video in this short of a space. The kart was built in Russia, or one of the other Slavic countries. It also looked like he took a big sprocket, and attached it to the flywheel. It also appears he was able to attach a front wheel drive transmission to the engine. He also built his own receivers and axle housings, probably to fit the bearings that are attached to the front wheel unit. This in itself is a way cool idea because those things can be picked up for not much money, and are better than the aftermarket stuff that is very expensive. Plus you have a reverse and disc brakes that you can go to the parts store and get another one if one goes bad. Also the engineering in the factory front end and transmission is much better, and has been proven over the last hundred years or so. Eziplans sells plans to build the Piranha, Barricuda, and the Sidewinder. It's the same as Edge products. Check em out.
