In my opinion those D9H's were one of the best dozers Cat produced. This was the last low track machines before the High drives came out.

Good video giles and great cats thank you the D9 is a great dozer they were great back in the late 1970s even, always there to the forefront pushing and ripping with the komatsu D155s and the D355s

Yes that muffler quietens the exhaust noise but the straight pipe sounds kicks ass !!!!!!!

What a fuel waster! Speed up then idle speed up then idle, gees!! Keep the rpm's up and regulate speed with the transmission.
