- Starting over at a new school can be tough - especially for migrant students, who often face cultural and language barriers and inconsistent access to healthcare and housing.
Through the Migrant Education Program (MEP), migrant students can receive the resources and support they need to graduate with a high school diploma and successfully prepare for further learning and future employment.

I'm an American citizen and a single mother of a son -can I come there and sign my son up for your program?
We are broke and barely making it -do you think that since I work and pay into your programs my son would qualify?
We speak perfect English but our government does not offer opportunities like this to natural citizens born in America.
Should I to expect any speed bumps when contacting your office???
We are white so I did not know if this was a racial issue.
Heavens forbid I would have to contact a lawyer due to racism....
@jaybird2791, have you lived in the area where you are living now for less than three years? Do you work in an agricultural job? If the answer is yes to both of those questions, then, yes, you probably would qualify. This program is for ANY child who is traveling with a parent that works in agriculture, including plant work. There is no ethnicity, citizen, or language requirement to qualify for these services.
@@heatherhackett1821 so would it matter that we are white?
@Nachos-pk7iw get lost taco
Education for Americans only!
Anyone notice how long she closed her eyes hen she said "The Migrant Education Program"? I don't think she even believed what she was talking about.
