Great cool vid, watching your build series. Love the posters on the bay front walk. 👍. I have an 83 Magna 750 I'm gonna start soon, maybe not as radical cool cut and frame design like your but have ideas . Good Job👍
i must say ive been looking for a guide for this .. and i found this glorious one 83 magna v45 bobbing !!! well ok not a v45 but a v42.5 tbh .. but oh the joy
What are you going to do about the ultra high headstock and bar position? If you go with a classic bobber seat down on the frame rails, you'll basically have a bobber ape hanger with even a low bar bend. Clubmans? How about tank interference?
@@armedandredee Flat clamps for the stock forks are easy to make, nothing to it, really. However, that is still going to be fairly high even with a flat drag type bar, and you're going to have the tank between your forearms unless you're pushing 7 feet tall, at least with a low bobber type seat. You can mock up what I'm saying to just zip tying the bar to the triple clamp and sitting where you think the seat will be, with the tank in place. It looks like you'll have a bar that is basically about shoulder height when you're sitting, with no bar rise. I'm just eyeballing off a vid, so if it's wrong, I apologize, but if it were my build, I'd check it to be sure. Odd biomechanics/ergonomics can really degrade a ride.
Thank you! Ive been looking for this kind of content
Oh man...I've got to get back to work on that thing!
