Hopefully, we can get some time in the next month or two. We only have 13mi left. Also, looking at buying a lighter pack for the summer months. For a 2-nighter, my goal is to get down to a pack weight of 20lbs. Either way, going to need to break out the Picaridin and Permethrin for the return trip to the LSHT, lol! I believe that for the Sheet Bend, you lace the smaller rope around the bend in the larger rope.

I will use the taut-line hitch when hanging a bear bag. I’ve used it up to 25lbs(couple of bags) with no issues. Happy camping!
