Nice video. Great detail and going slow on how to make the knot.

I believe that for the Sheet Bend, you lace the smaller rope around the bend in the larger rope.

Thanks for the catch on that! That will definitely matter if the difference in diameter is significant. Thanks for watching!

Excellent! Thank you for showing us how to tie a bowline hitch! Will use this on my trip this weekend! Any other knots to consider? Now following number 26!

@@ChristopherGalletto I’m just glad when I can tie up the bear bag! That last knot should work! Go backpacking almost every weekend and will try this knot over the weekend. Keep up the videos!

I will use the taut-line hitch when hanging a bear bag. I’ve used it up to 25lbs(couple of bags) with no issues. Happy camping!

Thank's Yellow Jacket, I had forgotten how to do a couple of those knots. When are you and Dad going back to finish the LSHT? If I remember not much left to finish. Those blisters and that hip should be healed by now LOL. Hiked a section of it this past weekend. Your neighbor in Big D.

Hopefully, we can get some time in the next month or two. We only have 13mi left. Also, looking at buying a lighter pack for the summer months. For a 2-nighter, my goal is to get down to a pack weight of 20lbs.
Either way, going to need to break out the Picaridin and Permethrin for the return trip to the LSHT, lol!
      Thanks for watching the video!

Glad you enjoyed the vid! Blisters are all healed. Looking to get back out there in the next few months before the real heat sets in, lol. Thanks for watching!
