I am an introvert and I am always the therapist of the group, but I never get any affection back. i am always the one left and the one who gets disrespected the most. I usually spend time in discord talking to people, but I come out as an extrovert while texting cause I don't like to show my emotion to others. I was diagnosed with depression 5 years ago and I never like to talk to someone about it. No one actually knows about this (except for you caus your reading this). I always appear as a confident person on social media. I have most of the signs in this video and I can prove that it's accurate. thank you so much for providing us with everything you have done. We really appreciate it. Ly
Hey, we appreciate you too it's hard being an introvert because people tend to overlook you. But it is okay to stand up for yourself and let your voice be heard. Start out small, like saying no or choosing not to be the therapist of the group and let someone else step in. Value your time and people will value it too.

But not since a long time ago now .As far as I'm concerned . Sure i believe that A person has to give respect in order to get respect . So when I notice that someone's not giving me respect not that they necessarily have to . Most of the time . My reaction is to just cut my losses & move on . I'm willing to give most people the benefit of the doubt . Especially upon first impression interacting with them for the first time . Even more so Than That irl .But I also know that life is not full of such simple easy answers . I got the title of mediator on a personality test and I feel like me and the people around me kinda treat me as that. It’s exhausting. I like to listen but having pressure to “fix” people’s problems is tiresome. I understand what you’re going through. Like the creator said it’s okay to say no in a group setting😊
I'm an anxious introvert I'm never a good leader, but I'm never a bad member because i don't like spotlight being directed on me **That fear of being horribly shamed in front of people you know and love* **It fills you with feeling of doubt* Yea i also have a gigantic lack of confidence...
I feel the same, I want to train as supervisor but lack confidence as leader. However, in multiplayer rpg setting I'm usually the one leading the party in dungeon runs. Great to play with other people I tend to play single players game due bad experiences of being scammed, kill steals and item beggers.
"Think before you speak" Regardless of being an introvert or not this is the one thing that you must achieve no matter what.. And in the case that you are able to actually think before you speak then you will most likely go forward in life
As an introvert I find this really difficult when someone suddenly approaches me. If I know I'll have to interact there's no problem, otherwise I'm the worst improviser
I'm an introvert who always overthinks to a point where I don't do or say anything at all. And there's a point where I think that thinking before speaking can be overrated. There's a sincerity in speaking without thinking that I believe is undervalued in our society. I don't want to be that person, or make any secretive schemes with such a person, because I'm sensitive and don't have the guts to handle what comes from it, but I often admire people who speak their mind regardless of possible consequences. Sometimes meaningful change can only come unintentionally, and sometimes the truth is intuitive and spontaneous. Sometimes people have heureka moments that only come if they let the words flow without suppressing certain ideas. What we consciously think is only the tip of the iceberg of what our brain is capable of. There's value in both. It's just harder to balance either types of people if you're really far on either side of the spectrum. We tend to often prefer traits in others that are comfortable rather than high risk, high reward. But it can be really helpful to be able to handle either. And yes, it can be really annoying when someone blurts out something (maybe secretive) they really shouldn't have, but just like the tendency to overthink, this trait has to be cultivated.
I genuinely love being alone. I’d rather stay in my own bubble and be myself rather than spending time with someone else. I enjoy my family’s company though. I’ve always been like this

I’m introvert and i hate talking about superficial things with people. It feels like a waste of time. I like talking about deep thoughts and feelings with my close friends :) is it just me or is it a trait too?
I get it man. I'm more on the introverted side too and I hate small talk. But I also have depression so I stopped really talking about feelings, dreams or other deep stuff I used to talk about. So all there is left are boring conversations
Yes definitely I’d rather talk about things going on in the world deep stuff if god is real or not ( plz don’t hassle me just saying what I’d like to talk about) and personality.
I feel like there's a huge difference between shy and introvert that not many people get A shy person is closed up period. It's their nature to be on the low regardless of the context or surroundings An introvert person will probably be more at ease around close friends in an environment they see safe from judgements but will be low profile in public and will probably wait for another to make a move towards them
@@jay-mieyounes373 I don't think that being Shy. Introvert doesn't mean they are quiet All the time, they can be also be loud in certain amount of time like when they are with their close friend and family
You know why introverts tends to be more prone to depression? It was because of those extroverts that tells us "something is wrong with you" just because we are not like them. I will give you guys an advice. Once you get to know your self and accept who you are, you will be 3 times happier in life. Remember!! *Don't let the world change your smile, change the world with your smile.*
Okay here’s the thing, I know I’m an introvert but I also have ADHD. So most of these are true with a side of dropping each one after 5 minutes to stare at the wall and have an existential crisis.
I would prefer being alone cause when I am alone I don't need to worry about what I do or what I speak but then again there are times when I really need someone beside me 😐
I realized ever since the pandemic during quarantine, I am a true introvert. Especially after realizing who my true friends were and then my ex broke my heart. Up to now I have had nothing but peace and happiness being by myself than to be around no good people I known my whole life
Damn. 8 signs you're a true introvert. Turns out I'm just anti-social. Don't get me wrong, but a lifetime of being an introvert and experiencing no return of what I gave, just led to deep depression. Working to climb out of that pit of despair, has made me less willing to be the go-to baggage holder for everyone else. Believe me I have enough of my own, which others could care less to acknowledge. Things I enjoy while alone, others find boring while I find all the chaos surrounding them, exhausts me. So right or wrong, I now ignore the drama and embrace the quiet. And that makes me the unfeeling selfish friend. Go figure!
To Dawn Love . Lovely Name & profile picture by the way . Anyways as far as I'm concerned as long as someone's a cool good chill decent person then I wouldn't mind at all . Cuz that sounds like a nice person to be around . Plus literally everyone selfish . some just happened to be more than others to a certain level . I’m a social introvert, so a lot of people believe that I’m an extrovert (because I talk a lot). However, I got INFJ on my personality test, and so I’m just digging into it a bit more. Definitely accurate, and all these factors stated here all apply to me as well.
@@ninili847 I got INFP on 16 personalities! The results applied to me so well that I was actually kind of scared haha. They even said that I’m good at remembering other languages, which is true because I know 4 languages!
I find it very difficult being one. Tests have shown I’m an INTJ and I’ve had issues with friendships, romantic and working relationships. It’s one thing when society doesn’t understand you, but when it’s your own family that’s another thing entirely 😞
Because I am an introvert, I have no friends who will understand me and listen to me. While I am always there for them and ready to listen to them. What's wrong with me? Or am I just in a bad environment surrounded by not really good people?
There's nothing wrong with u, and I know how that feels. Just because you're an introvert doesnt mean u dont have friends. There's always people out there who are like u, u just haven't found them yet. :)

I agree with the others might be more environment. I was fortunate I let my extrovert friend talk me into going to a parent's coffee group. I admit I was terrified and would not have gone if she'd not been with me the whole time. I met the most amazing lady who is also an introvert and we just instantly clicked. 3 years later and while I still like and appreciate my extrovert friend my introvert friend are sooo much closer we just get each other on a whole other level. I never feel the pressure of making social chit chat and I never get that drained feeling after spending time with her. I hope you will be blessed with an amazing friend who gets you as I've been fortunate enough to.😊

A lot of extroverts seem to think that introverts are rude, yet I have been around extroverts who immaturly yell personal matters about you across the room, so that they can get a laugh from everyone else at your expense (which I find to be very inconsiderate and ignorant). But I am lucky that I don't have to look too far to find my introverted peeps out there. Most introverted people don't even try to understand me, and some will even gaslight me because if it.
Idk am I a ambivert or not because when if I'm with Stranger And I have one close friend or family family Standing next to me I sometime I can pull out being an Extrovert and if my close friends or family not there I am quiet I won't even talk
I still don't get why people look at me weird when I say 2020 was my favorite year. -no pressure to sociallize -a plasible ecxuse to avoid people -an endless amount of free, personal time... WHAT was not enjoyable about that?!!
People always think that I am an extrovert. They only see me based on my occupations (dancer, model, badminton athletes). But Deep inside, I am fully introvert person..
I think I'm an introvert, I get drained by socialising and don't often look forward to family and friend events. This might sound weird but I love listening to other's problems and insecurities, because I like listening and making them feel better. I definitely prefer emailing/texting and love art, but I often blab things out and don't think before speaking and really bad at problem solving..... so I'm mostly an introvert but there's things I don't fit with.
My experience as an Introvert: My seatmates go to other seats to copy assignments and I were the only one left in the seat row because I am a responsible student who always finish school works after the class. So I was seating silently minding my own business and doing what I have to do when suddenly my teacher asked "Do you have friends?" And all my classmates looked at me with a pity thinking that I am lonely when infact I am enjoying my self doing school works, was the most embarrassing, humiliating, and annoying moment that I've ever experienced.
Guys the important thing to remember is, like everything else in life balance is important. Introverted and extroverted qualities in the same individual will make you well rounded and less likely to suffer the negative effects of both these personality types.
Ya, did you know that a breed of two living beings (for example a crossover plant or a non-purebred doggo) actually has a better chance of being healthy because nature gives them more upsides than downsides of their breed/species?
After watching this, yes yes i am an introvert. I relate to so many of these, especially the listening things, feeling emotions intensely and great leader.
I'm not necessarily shy or awkward, I can strike conversations and make friends, but most of the time I just choose not to, I much prefer time alone and my social battery is often really short
The best feeling is being a leader... Ahhhh im a really good leader myself... My men trust, respect me and if needed, they put their activities aside to help me as well.
55y, Introvert/HSP/Empath here. The problem is that most Extroverts are wishy, washy and think life is just one big game and treat others, decisions as a joke. That is why I tend to shun most ppl by choice. Their take on life is not mine.
Introverts don't hate people, they just find them tiring. That's not actually a sign of introversion, that just means you hate people (no offense, not sure if I came off rude there, I did not intend to)

8/8. In high school, my MBTI score was one of the few in the class where one trait was 100%. For me, it was introversion. My final tally was INXX, where I was 50% TF and 50% PJ. The teacher went out of his way to explain that there is NO way (back in the 80s) that I could have those EXACTLY even. So, after redoing the thing and "adjusting" answers, I ended up an INTJ. Goes well with the fact I'm a touch-based empath as well.
Apparently it also means relationships and dating are next to impossible to achieve or pursue. Thinking too much doesn't help when there aren't always 2 or 3rd chances. As someone who lacks personal emotions, but feels other's emotions, things get complicated quickly.
College is the reason I became am extreme introvert and the reason I try my very best to avoid people at all costs. I just wanna be left alone. My goal is to buy or build a house in the middle of a forest next to a river. My Playstation and internet are my best friends🙂
I used to be really extroverted years ago. When i took up psychology in grade 11, i got to know about introspection and that helped me get through some rough patches in my life. Ever since i got into the field of psychology i have always tried to become a good listener. For the longest time now my friends have been telling me how i have gotten quieter and a bit more reserved. At first i didn't like the change but when i realized how much more observant i had become it really made me happy. i have always been into fine arts and dance but never really took them very seriously until 2 years ago. i am glad that i made those decisions. These changes i believe are the result of some events that happened and the cherry on the top is taking up psychology :) I am more of an ambivert leaning towards introversion. I love the way i am now.
I am an introvert. Sometimes I think I might be an ambivert But then I remember that I like staying in the space I make enjoyable. A space where I listen to whatever music I want to with white christmas lights on the wall, blanket on my back as I sit down on the floor and peacefully embroider while I think about my day and I have a conversation with myself and think about things I want to do tomorrow and other stuff. That space, is special to me. I definetly prefer it over going out and talking to random people I barely know and then I feel exhausted from it. I like tryig new things. I sometimes go out, but somewhere with a blanket and a peaceful quiet place where I can recreate and have time for myself, to recharge. so this video, all that's been said in it,I definetly relate to and I LOVED IT💚💚💚
Describes me pretty accurately, but I personally feel I fluctuate on the spectrum depending on who I'm around and in the right situations. I can be extremely outgoing and extroverted around people I vibe with.
I loved this video immensely. I however wish the world would see us as good leaders, because we are quiet and only speak when we have our thoughts formed and proper things to say, I feel we are often overlooked. Unfortunately people tend to choose extroverts for leadership roles.

Ly
i wish i could help you :c ☁️
Hey, we appreciate you too it's hard being an introvert because people tend to overlook you. But it is okay to stand up for yourself and let your voice be heard. Start out small, like saying no or choosing not to be the therapist of the group and let someone else step in. Value your time and people will value it too.
@@Psych2go Thank you so much for the advice. i will value and use it from now on. i really appreciate that you reply to every comment and helping them. you are the sweetest, ly
Aww That's unfortunate also sucks That's some people could be like that . To take up your time like that talkin your ear off .But the same time acting a jerk not giving you any deserve affection . Like I know people are not obligated to be Nice Or to Care .But To have some decency shouldn't be too much to ask for . I can relate to this to an Extent I used to be like that for the most part . I'm the kind of person that Would be willing to hear someone out also to offer my honest opinion on certain types of advice . Or just let them vent giving them someone that would listen to them✌🏼 My apologies for the long comment
I got the title of mediator on a personality test and I feel like me and the people around me kinda treat me as that. It’s exhausting. I like to listen but having pressure to “fix” people’s problems is tiresome. I understand what you’re going through. Like the creator said it’s okay to say no in a group setting😊

"Think before you speak"
Regardless of being an introvert or not this is the one thing that you must achieve no matter what..
And in the case that you are able to actually think before you speak then you will most likely go forward in life
I strongly agree
This is one thing that I have a huge problem with. This and not thinking before I act. Sometimes I always end up regretting what I've done.
True... It's rly a needed skill these days...like ppl are so annoying they don't even think of the conseqences of their actions Istg))
I genuinely love being alone. I’d rather stay in my own bubble and be myself rather than spending time with someone else. I enjoy my family’s company though. I’ve always been like this
😅 I can't say that I'm that enthusiastic about being all to myself . I'm more so just kinda ok with it for Now at least . Ever since I was little heck even now to this day I want to be able to travel the 🗺 But even after Or before doing that Even more than That . i very much like to actually have real true friends one Day . Sure I know there's a lot of bad apples out there . But I don't want to let that discourage me from actually achieving that being around such interesting awesome people that exist in the 🗺 there's no doubt in my mind that people can Eventually find someone that Truly values Them . far more than words could ever express 😅 also when it comes to my family Cuz of my outlook on life , My Views , feelings Also with a lot of them being toxic I unfortunately can't say that we're on good terms
@Big Mancubus I can't say the same . I like people Especially if they are good Or decent person .But I'm just too nervous shy to make the first approach

Okay here’s the thing, I know I’m an introvert but I also have ADHD. So most of these are true with a side of dropping each one after 5 minutes to stare at the wall and have an existential crisis.
Sometimes I have to force myself to socialize because I love my solitude so much that I isolate myself from the world.

Go figure!

But then I remember that I like staying in the space I make enjoyable.
