Good roads . big roads . Greenery Everywhere.. good public infrastructure.. less population.. have its own fintech centre ( Gift ) outside main city Super connectivity What a city to live 😋
If skyscrapers are allowed then Gandhinagar can easily match and maybe beat any city in the world. But Gujarat is the only state which comes under earthquake level 5 zone so I don't think they will allow.
Think Wink kya krna h na hi kre to better h acchhe building structure europe jaisa Bane v to thik h ya ya achcha modern width building bane v to achcha hi dikega jb itna earthquake aata h to skyscrapers kyu banana

Gandhinagar can easily develop as world class city given it doesn't allow footpaths to be encroached by the rhe hawkers and street vendors, build some high skyscrapers not only in GIFT city but all over Gandhinagar, ban the autorickshaws and E rickshaws from the city and implement BRTS and metro connection throughout rhe city, build more wider footpaths, so that public don't walk on streets, limit unnecessary honking🫰
Only skyscrapers are lacking. If they allow for building skyscrapers then Gandhinagar can beat any city in the world. But Gujarat is the only level 5 earthquake state, so I don't think they will allow any skyscrapers
@@devamjani8041 Earthquake zones do not prohibit the building of skyscrapers, they just have higher requirements. San Francisco, Los Angeles, Tokyo...are testament to that.
Yes, it is the best planned city in the best location. It has similar planning to Chandigarh but in a much more prosperous region of the nation. As long as they strictly regulate Gandhinagar and GIFT, sky is the limit.
So does Los Angeles, Tokyo, San Francisco, Istanbul and so many of the world's great cities. The problem is when cities on non-fault areas suddenly have major earthquakes.

Gandhinagar has the most potential of all state capitals. Excellent planned city which will finally reap the benefits.
