Great defensive tactics, your use of skirmishers in conjecture with anchoring the enemy is brilliant, you didnt even need elephants in the end. That cavalry charge in the back was awesome, i actually started clapping when you pulled that move :D
We need another Napoleon or empire... With these new graphics, and hopefully a top notch sound design, the battles would be beautiful. And if anyone from CA is going through this comment section ,for some reason. I have a complaint, one thing I couldn't stand about Atilla is the rather drab color or "aesthetic" while the graphics are better, they feel like wasted potential, if only you had incorporated some color like in Rome 2 or shogun 2 the games (I know this conflicts with the apocalypse theme but there is so much of that in modern games, it feels like heaven playing something like tf2). And if you ever do make a new empire or Napoleon, make the muskets sound meaty, give it a powerful sound, in other words a little more base a little less crack.

I want to see larger battles, with 20,000 men on each side. In Empire, a standard army was about 2200 men strong, but in reality armies had 15,000 to 50,000 men.

The big siege things are something like ancient tanks, because they had similar functions like modern tanks: Pushing through obstacles/walls, Protecting troops hiding behind/in it and having BIG fire power, because the romans originally put many pretty strong ballistas inside them, which could damage enemies near as hard as modern tanks can.

Exactly! I never realised how in depth it was either, with the different size of cannons on different ships etc, very cool. I also like how when you get on to the bigger ships they are more like floating fortresses, able to take on entire fleets on their own

You need to do a seige when the attackers can only go through one hole in the wall and you fight and defend that one spot so it's just a big body pit of death
arent spearmen weak against swordmen? If so how eastern countries have a chance against roman leagionaries as they are all swordsmen while almost every unit of eastern counteries are spearmen? edit: i wish at 21:00 you contiued to the archers on upperside instead of trying to go outside

Исмаил Мустабиров Total War games need a pretty good CPU because you're simulating thousands of men running over the battlefield; normally they're CPU limited rather than GPU limited. Saying that, don't use Intel Integrated Graphics for Total War because integrated graphics suck. So a decent CPU (quad core i5 or i7) and a dedicated graphics card and you'll be set.
The “elite” so called Persian archers look like elite Beduine archers ... they look nothing like Persian soldiers ... Persians did not wear turbans like that
Greats battle but what a terrible reconstruction of persapolise .. the ancient capital of Persia ... there were 7 palancas in persapolise ... the hall of 1000 Colombs and the Hall Darius ... were the most magnificent palace complex in the ancient world... nothing like it here on this design ... very disappointed

I agree man, and you should download a saturation boost mod for atilla (and other drab titles like skyrim), really makes the world more lively

Fizzy Purple I bought Napoleon for the naval combat, then afterwards got more interested in the linebattles :P.
I really hope they revisit that era cause I love naval battles like that. I like smaller ones tho cause there is more room for micromanagement

The romans had this crazy siege tower it was massive on the lowest level it had a battering ram and on the top level there was a catapult.
