Foundation - Lee Pace talks AppleTV's huge new sci-fi show

- Lee Pace is interviewed by Sarah Cook for AppleTV+'s Foundation, based on the novels by Isaac Asimov. The sci-fi epic is produced by showrunner David S. Goyer, and stars Jared Harris and Lee Pace, alongside rising stars Lou Llobell and Leah Harvey. The Apple Original drama also stars Laura Birn, Terrence Mann, Cassian Bilton and Alfred Enoch.
Plot: When revolutionary Dr. Hari Seldon predicts the impending fall of the Empire, he and a band of loyal followers venture to the far reaches of the galaxy to establish The Foundation in an attempt to rebuild and preserve the future of civilization. Enraged by Hari's claims, the ruling Cleons - a long line of emperor clones - fear their grasp on the galaxy may be weakening as they're forced to reckon with the potential reality of losing their legacy forever.
Foundation will premiere globally on Apple TV+ September 24, 2021.

Underrated actor IMO. I've seen all his films. Great stage presence and athority. May he live long and prosper.

This is the 2nd video that I just watched today with Lee Pace. I falling in love with him with his Cleon character in Foundation and his own personality as just himself.
Very versatile actor that can play malevolent or benevolent characters with conviction. Ronan the Accuser was over the top but this a comedic film after all. The Galactic Emperor is a benevolent looking character that is cruel by necessity and seems relish on it. Since Lee Pace has an attractive physicality and is a good actor, he can play both cruel and benevolent with great credibility.
This show is wonderful, it NEEDS to be renewed for all the seasons it was intended to have!! Also i love how passionately Lee speaks about it. This man is so humble and sweet
Oh, I really hope the Foundation comes out on DVD too. Because not everyone can afford to subscribe to a streaming service. And I would love to see the show.
