in every contract, all these are stated in it. the laws that will be used for arbitration in case troubles arise. you can't blame them for seeking redress. blame government appointees for not adhering to the contract. you can't terminate someone's contract without a good reason stated in the contract. if they sue you in court, you will lose.
We are part of the international community; that is why we get grants and loans from the international community. We are subject to UN conventions. Ghana is not an island. The elephant in the room is that the NPP's recklessness is destroying this country.
@kasare3085 The issue is not even about signing of the contract. the problem is about how they terminated the contract. signing a contract is never a big deal you just have to find a legal way to get out of the deal. if you cancel a contract illegal and then go ahead to ask that the company pay you compensation for terminating the contract you have with them. there is no way there will take it lightly because they have already invested money in the project.
One thing I don't understand is that you should have given listeners the actual genesis of signing this unrealistic agreement with the GNPC. Sam George NDC brought this to Ghanaians, stop the noise!
