Pixel Film Studios you are the best dude!
Hey, at 5:38 you mention a tutorial on how to set up a camera for taking slow-mo roll. Can you put the link in the description- it seems to be absent. Awesome video here! Slow motion really draws people into your video like nothing else!
We actually do not have that tutorial video up yet, which is why it is not linked in the description, but we will in the future! We thank you for your patience in the meantime until it releases! 😊
👍

😙💖
This is wonderful!! No idea this was available. I am seeing that the footage you use as an example has three different speed phases without the footage being cut into three segments... have you done a video about how to achieve this? As I make video tutorials this will be very interesting to discover, the fast forward speed is a must in some of my tutorial stages so I don't bore my viewers!
How to Create Variable Speed Changes in Final Cut Pro X
@@pixelfilmstudios Thank you!!!
Hi, great video. Where is the other tutorial for the camera and setting for super slow motion
This video from another UA-camr should have more information on how to set up your shot for slow motion. ua-cam.com/video/czIpte_l6CE/v-deo.htmlsi=lYp6IotZ4zVIn7zi
Thanks for your videos! Just a quick question: when you set up 60fps, and shutter speed of 1/125 does the setting remain manual or automatic?
Glad you like the video. When you bring it into Final Cut Pro it will place your clip in at the exact amount of time the video is recorded, for but may drop frames to fit the project frame rate. You can then use the Automatic Speed setting to adjust the clip back to display all frames so you aren't missing any frames. :)
I'm new to fcp. I'm in learning. It's for long video. Original Video is in 50fps. I slow motioned the clip to 60% speed for editing. What project frame rate is best for this 60% slow motioned 50fps original video without using optical flow because videos duration is very big. Should i use the same frame rate in my project. If i create a 60 frame rate project for 50 fps, 60% speed original video will there be any problems.
I always edit videos at 60% speed. So can u give me some advice ☺️
Will there be any problems if we create project with higher frame rate than original video
We found this video that might help go a bit more into your question: ua-cam.com/video/uAVyoCoVIoc/v-deo.html
We would recommend reaching out to an editors forum so some more experienced folks can answer your question more in depth if needed. This is a bit of an advanced question. 😊
I like slomo 😇🤘🤘🤘🤘
Isn't it just awesome? 😁😁😁
Could you please confirm if Is this a destructive edit? Im asking because I have applied both frame blending and optical flow to some clips on my timeline and Im now unable to revert them back to normal. I tried reverting it back using both proxy and original media (and re-rendering them) but the effect seems to be somehow "stuck". Im I missing something? Thanks!
It is not a destructive edit. Just bring clip back to 100% timing and select normal for video quality. Once you have done that try and re-rendering your project
@@pixelfilmstudios Thank you very much! Is there any point in using optical flow or frame blending on top of retiming a video using auto speed? Ie: 24fps timeline, 30fps clip, auto speed to 80% than frame blending.
Hello sir, thank you for your beautiful way of asking the information, but I did not understand how I can calculate, can you explain better? For example, if I shoot a video at 90 frames, how do I calculate to slow down the movement correctly?
This article might help explain it a bit better for you! ;)
www.premiumbeat.com/blog/how-to-achieve-perfect-slow-motion-results-in-post/
So if I'm shooting at 120fps, my shutter speed should at least be 1/240 correct?
Yes. That should be the minimum shutter speed
That intro is hilarious and lit 😂

Loving that slow-mo Wayne? 😉 We love it too!!!!!! We're so glad you're having fun with our tutorials!
Can you help me in my problem? It's just stuck at "Analyzing for optical flow"
Hi CL! Thank you for reaching out to us! Occasionally depending upon your system specs Optical Flow can have hangups occur. It's much easier for FCPX to apply Optical Flow onto a clip that is shorter. If you are applying Optical Flow to a long clip we recommend splicing the clip then trying to apply it.
It's amazing slomo i try only mobile😂
You got this Jadeja!!! You'll be a slow-mo on phone master! 📱
