Hahahha ni ISA NA WALANG KUMASA SA CHALLENGE NI CJRENATO CORONA.
My father was one of the very few people who believed Corona was innocent and that he was being politically persecuted by the then Aquino admin. My father, who was into politics like big big on political issues, maintained his contention that the Philippine government and politics has a penchant for persecuting whoever was involved with the previous administration. He told me that it was the then admin’s way of eliminating their political opponents or by slowly removing whoever was not in their camp or whoever was bias or neutral. They started with the removal of the Ombudsman, then the CJ, then the removal of the SP, then the character assassination of whoever has “may alam” about what they were doing.
It was very artistic the way they did it. They “bribed” the senators in a way that many of them would believe it was not bribe. They then removed Enrile and accused 2 other senators of plunder. Of course the people would automatically believe that. Filipinos are notorious for having the attitude of celebrating the downfall of the powerful. So alams na. Kurakot si Estrada, Revilla, and Enrile. Of course they won’t go beyond that kasi if gagawin nila yun, the senate would be their enemy. So instead, they used the 3 to send a stern warning. Syempre Enrile was already largely involved with Martial Law, Estrada was of course the son of Erap, and Revilla had tidings with Arroyo so the premise was there. S
Pero karma is real ika nga and it saved us from these yellows by infamously displaying the then admin’s standard bearer’s behavior during Yolanda. So…

So unbecoming for a Chief Justice. A big shame for the Filipino people to have a Chief Justice who does not know how to follow. He doesn't deserve any respect at all. Filipinos do not deserve a Chief Justice who cannot observe simple court de quorum. Power tripper. But still, we are lucky to have a Senate leadership that has full conviction to uphold the dignity of every Filipino represented by them.
