Anne Heche didn't die from a car accident . Yes she was in an accident but she didn't die from it . There's a video of her in a body bag and when the paramedics were putting in the ambulance she tore open the bag and sat up and one of the paramedics injected her up with something and then they drove away .

Another World was my fave drama back in the day…I’m shook to the core to see Anne and Robyn passed. I knew Anne had been in a wreck but hadn’t heard any updates…So sad to lose both ladies. Anne was amazing playing twins Vicki/Marley-brilliantly done. This was a rough week-so many childhood faces gone too soon 💐

If memory serves, the week after, mom and sis got Auntie a special commemorative gift celebrating the life of her idol. Yes she was alive and coherent when they found her but maybe her injuries were to much for her body to sustain. It took them 60 minutes to get them out of that car. I think because it was so emphasized in a journalism class I took, I wince at the use of “sustained” in a death notice. Almost by definition, an injury or injuries *sustained* by a person are *not* fatal. Sustained injury or injuries means the injured person was able to withstand the injury/injuries and can recover. The replacement I was taught is “suffer(ed).” “…died from injuries suffered in a fall,” as an example.

I am truly saddened by the loss of those who are given tribute in this video. I apologize if the following looks cold. That is not at all my intent. I think because it was so emphasized in a journalism class I took, I wince at the use of “sustained” in a death notice. Almost by definition, an injury or injuries *sustained* by a person are *not* fatal. Sustained injury or injuries means the injured person was able to withstand the injury/injuries and can recover. The replacement I was taught is “suffer(ed).” “…died from injuries suffered in a fall,” as an example.
