He was NOT "tearing up training camp". He looked SIGNIFICANTLY worse than Austin - in a similar role that's already filled by Austin. I was there 3 days of week 1 of camp & watched the WRs exclusively. He can't play special teams, he can't play outside, & doesn't deserve a helmet. I think Van Jefferson is the worst starter in the NFL by a mile - so what does that say about someone who can't get a helmet? It says Wilson got over drafted by about 3-4 rounds bc of how he benefitted from a historically great UM run game. Turn on a full UM game from '23 & you'll see.
This is 100% true. If you don't allow your team to bottom out, you have to take chances to get elite talent. Then everyone wonders why the Steelers are crushed by injuries every year. Wilson though? Wilson feels like an Art Smith pick. Saw elite run game at UM & a fast guy who took advantage of it. He's fast, but a terrible route runner who struggles to use that explosion out of his breaks. It's why John Ross failed, why Dri Archer busted, & etc. Fast doesn't mean "good football player".

You would rush someone back and wonder why they aren’t playing well just like Williams still actively recovering from his knee injury. Injuries like that typically take a year before someone plays like their normal selves but you fans are all about now now now and that’s why players never have time to develope, time to learn a system, time to heal. Why not take the time to actually understand situations instead of being on an emotional rollercoaster loving and hating your team week to week. Realistic expectations and actually learning about the team situations.
Tomlin should be made to walk around the facility with a football in his hand with players and coaches trying to knock it out because he has fumbled big time with trying to make a winner here in Pittsburgh

Go back to 2014 when he didn’t play LeGarrett Blount, then after falling out, cuts Blount with no backup to Bell. Then Bell gets injured in the season finale and the Steelers go into the playoffs with no RB. Then he builds the defense around Shazier with no backup. Shazier gets tragically injured and they go get Shawn Spence off the couch with disastrous results in the playoffs. Or LeVeon bell pulls a groin in the Miami playoff game..yet V KC bell carries the ball almost 30 times knowing that he is injured. Finally bell goes down the next week in NE. Now the situation with Pickens. Tomlin never gets it 😮

Really getting sick of the predictable playcalling on offense, run pass pass, or run run pass. It’s atrocious and an abomination, and wastes time and drives for us, especially because our run game is a joke and Najee can’t get holes opened up for him. We need to stop running bc Najee can’t get thru a decent hole because o line can’t open one for him, or put in Warren for most run plays. This predictable playcalling has killed our momentum. We can’t even do any WR screens bc Pickens is out, like wtf.

Without Pickens it looks bad out there. I thought they would target Williams and the Tight Ends a lot more.
