Wow! I was there and had the honor of receiving a head sketch of the ever lovin' blue eyed Thing by a young upstart artist named John Byrne. What memories. Thank you.
What’s crazy is x men which was just relaunching with Chris clearmont wasn’t a fan favorite just yet but two years later it was there flagship comic lol
How when comics were a great source of entertainment and escapism. Today, too many things have tainted the Marvel brand (well, DC also) This is why comic book shops were in danger of closing pre-COVID lock downs and why today Manga is kicking the American comics industries butt. It is a downward course that will not change as long as the Big Shots in comics turn a deaf ear to BUYING fans and listen to their compadres on Twitter.

You should post that somewhere and show us. You've got yourself a piece of history there.
SHOW USS
John Buscema, master, finishes the drawing by taking a drag on the cigarette like a boss.
I was at this convention, met John Buscema there, and got his autograph. One of my comic heroes.

Wow this was so fun to watch! What a variety of show of insanity and pure comics love.

That's why Comicsgate is becoming so big. All killer comic book escapism with no horseshit. ...Okay, a minimum of horseshit.
