Wow! I had no idea the 1971-76 Impala'a were so popular. When i was a kid these boats were considered "Mom's or Grandpa's" cars. It is truly amazing to see what these Guys and Gals have done to them. The paint or wrap, chrome, and wheels are awesome. The interiors and some of the motors are over the top! Good Job and I love it!

A Donk is Chevy Caprice or Impala ONLY from 1971 to 1975. ANY other car is NOT a Donk. It don't matter if its another Chevy Caprice or Impala, How BIG The Rims Are or How High it Sits off the ground. The name Donk was originate in Miami Florida the cars were described as Donkeys because of the Wide Read End that they have. We would say it looked like a Donkey Ass from the back. Donkey shortened to Donk. The cars had this name way before Big Rims were even invented for cars or Cats raising their cars 4 feet off the ground. Back when Trues and Vouges or 50's and Lows were the thing to ride on. Even before then, back when Spinner Bars and 30's were out the name Donk was there. You will hear a lot of people say it incorrectly and say Dunk. Its not Basketball its a Animal. At least y'all got the name spelled right. The Very First Car in the Video IS a Donk, A 1973 Chevy. I know its a 73 from the Tail lights in the Bumper. There are other Donks in the Video but ONLY the ones that looks like the Very First One. All the other cars Are Not Donks.
