    pascal = kgm-1s-2
    hertz = s-1

      @@RWC-Ichigo frequency= 1/ T. so T=seconds. therefore f= 1 / s. bring s up and therefore it becomes s-1.

    The S.I. base units are fun to learn, but I wish that all Americans should use such units in day-to-day life. :-)

    Why is mass misured in kg (1000 g) instead of g like all other units?

      99% of the time grams are too little to make a good use of. Hell even kilos are hard to use at times.

      Because revolutionary French thought that Grav that is 1 Grav = 1 kilogram were too big for the masses... So they came up with smaller unit, messing up the whole thing...

    what is the difference between SI units and SI derived units?

      Si units are the main units which are 7 in number whilst derived units are units gotten from the main units which are known as the fundamental units

    I just need to know at 4:47 why you put -2 in front of s but only 2 in front of m. Aren't they both squared??

      they are but example acc is m/s2 but we often write it as ms-2 so thats what he did like we just shift 2 to the numerator and so we change the sign. do you get it???

      because it's not hard? he taught you how to do it for the other two so its really not difficult to apply the knowledge to the other two equations.

      Newton is not a drived unit it's just the name of the basic unit and it is used for ease
      And kgms-2 is basic drived unit

    You write the symbol for velocity and you say speed which is just confusing and not right scientifically.

      Lana Pshtiwan speed and velocity have the same symbol and you are right because velocity is the rate of change of speed in a specified direction

    Why do none of these explanations start by telling you what we mean by 'derived'? Does it sound silly that we use upper case just because a term is named after a Lord? i.e. Kelvin? who cares whether it's upper case or lower case anyway?
