He seems so stressed free and more goofy now that he doesn't have to go through the stresses of touring. This isn't the first band to hire a touring musician in their place.
Chester used his own pain to sing songs that redeemed people. The combination with Linkin Park pushed his musical talent to the peak.
Chester's voice encompasses anger and vulnerability, and his lyrics are filled with honest depictions of inner struggle and pain, giving their music energy and depth.
And we lost this music legend - Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington on July 20, 2017
Emily's singing voice is only wild but without delicate emotions, and she can't sing the feeling of Chester at all.

@@klarge24 she was born into it through no choice and there's absolutely zero indication that she's still a member and there's no way to ascertain how deep her beliefs actually run. Everything points to her currently not being one. Don't think Mike and the boys would be okay with her if she was one. Truth is, we don't know her story, it could not have been easy growing up around a cult especially as a queer person. She's never once publicly promoted it or talked about the church, and members being public about it is the whole church's MO. I'm just gonna trust the guys on this one. Her story is obviously complicated.

@@drgribb yes. since CD's were a thing but back then. they sealed them soo tight that you had to use your teeth. now they don't sealed them as tight. and you just can use a letter opener or an small knife or your fingers. thats why I said she's old school.

After losing their brother and bandmate in Chester, that's all we can really ask for as fans for Mike, Brad, Joe and Dave. While I'm sure they also miss having Rob around to continue this journey together.
I love how they shot the album cover. I would’ve thought it was computer generated but seeing them actually shoot it with the camera and that it’s mostly in camera shot is really beautiful.😢

5:30 - Linkin Park is clearly making a statement here. In the world of AI, the human touch is what continues to build connections between artists and fans.
Edit: LP always uses the latest tech, and does so in a way the strengthens the bond with fans. If AI in some way brings that, I’m sure LP will use it in a way that everyone will admire.
And yet, they had no issue using AI for the Lost video.
@@nathankempf1990 LP always riffs on trends in their music, so why not for the video. Besides, iirc it was largerly trained on their own material like live shows from the Meteora era. The anime element in the abstract I'm unsure about.
Until Mike goes back to the AI/NFT bullshit conversation. Sigh.
Mike Shinoda is the only big artist who was able to make the first ever music album NFT. It’s not the same as AI. Surely that tech hasn’t worked yet but LP ALWAYS uses the latest tech as long as it strengthens the bond with fans.
@nathankempf1990 It was AI that was trained on the art of very specific artists, who all consented to their art being used, were credited and paid. No copyright violation.
The designer in me is in tears right now. What an amazing project all together, maybe one day you know...

I think this is LPs best album cover visually because it changes things up from what we expected. If you look at past albums you see colors like white, black, gray, and brown. From Zero really stands out among them and I think that’s perfect for a new beginning.
Not really but for me Meteora is the best album cover. I do agree in somewhat you said that the previous albums were into color combination theme of only black & white since M2M has been released. M2M, ATS, The Hunting Party has the similarities in terms of color combination and not as much attractive as the first two albums HT & Meteora.

This is genius. In a day and age where we all just download and stream music creating physical albums like this and having alternative art work and colours is genius it creates something for everyone and if the album is good fans will want to collect them all. so many artists wouldn't care about making albums and stuff like this and if they did make it I don't think they would put the effort in that these guys did.
Nothing like a physical release. A true treat for any fan.

I ordered my vinyl and cd with zine and I can't freaking wait to have them here at my house in 🇨🇴. But now, after seeing all these cool stuff, I want one of everything I just saw... I mean those purple cassettes 💜. I loved to see Emily opening the box set wit her teeth, I'm glad I'm not the only one doing that 😅. This band has given me years of life with its return and they all seem so happy 🥹. And yes, I'd buy anything with Emily's face or voice on it. November 11 can't come soon enough!!!!!

I agreed 💯. M2M, ATS, The Hunting Party were all like black and white. Meteora is my fave album cover. In terms of black & white, M2M is my top picked among the three album covers.
