Good stuff Greg, it’s awesome to see you getting out with your family and nailing some great eating fish. That Dolly towards the end was cool too, I love chasing them. Someone out there will be spewing that their leader knot broke 😂👍

Pretty amazing looking trips there Greg,
Matey, do you bleed the barcod? It is something that is never mentioned and although I have never fished like this yet, I am hopeful to get into it off Bundaberg as we are pretty close to getting there and getting into it so do the deep drop fish need to be bled.
We never used to bleed anything so it's all new to me.
Thanks for making such a great mix of videos
    Cheers Garry

Hey Greg, Nice video. What model Miya Epoch reel do you have. I've just got AT 3s I just bought recently and am wondering if it will be enough.

Hi Matt, We use a combination of the older x8's and also the newer Z9 and R800.

Do you see the electric reel takes the fun out of fishing? I think it takes the feeling out of fishing but I know you don’t have a choice cause it’s to deep. That’s my thought anyways everyone is different.

Not at all mate. Deep dropping is just another form of fishing and to do it well you need to use electric reels. Anyone that comes out and does it always says they love it and there's more to it than they thought.

After using electric reels for over 10 years, I find the only people who say it’s no fun are people who have never used one. I have converted so many people to electric it s not funny. Where I fish if you don’t use one you are just feeding sharks. It’s just another form of fishing. What I don’t like is catch and release, when I’ve got a feed I go home.

@@careymcintosh5272 sorry I had so many spelling correction I had to fix it before only just noticed. The main thing is that person is having fun with it. It’s not really for me I had used it a few times caught plenty of fish but not my thing.
