    Soju, I'm a gamer two years older than you. I used to play overwatch for about 14 hours a day. I was enjoying playing in the highest elo, but gradually I started to think like you.There are two reasons for this psychology, the first is that your body no longer wants to sit all the time. The second is that constantly doing the same action puts your brain on autopilot. The next stage of this, unfortunately, is depression. I got out of this situation by doing sports and finding new hobbies.I still love gaming, but I also do other things and am physically active. I suggest you to try.

    Real talk listen to me Soju, you have given me hours of entertainment with your streams, so i feel like I should give you, and anybody reading this, something back. Regarding your hobbies and feeling bored: I know what it feels like. My advice is number 1: Eat better food. I swear to god, it makes all the difference. Start small, eat fruit instead of candy, eat oatmeal and eggs on the side with bread as breakfeast. Try to follow a scheduele, eat every 3 hours, dont snack inbetween.
    After that, try to get some quality sleep, I know its hard to turn of the computer, but just sleep bro, dont do too many 24 hours streams (even though I love them) I love you more bro, I wanna see you happy. Good luck man

    i had the same issue. I only play tft and every other game sucks... When im not playing tft im doomscroling tik tok. What helped is eat correctly, going to the gym, and getting a hobby (i Just mastered the Ollie on my skateboard). I felt pretty depressed but there needs to be a balance with real world stuff and Screens(Video games and phone).

    In my early 20s, I devoted my time to work 8 hours, playing CS for 5-8 hours a day. I realized that in my late 20s that there's more to life than playing video games. It's not bad to grind in a game that you love and make a living out of. It's your passion. But, you also need to do other things to make life interesting.

  • @stighelmer1265
    @stighelmer1265 11 місяців тому

    Its the dopamine. When you play you are in the compulsion loop. When you dont play you dont have the massive constant dopamine boost you have when you play. Thats why the gym helps. Its gives you that boost. My tip is to actually go to the gym even of you dont feel you have to. Then whenever you have some time off you will still be going and those shitty days will be fewer and fewer.

    I know the feel, I played semi-pro cs from age 13-18, after I quit I couldnt really enjoy games any more and didnt have other hobbies. For me, finding physical hobbies was the way out, started with gym and rock climbing and later MMA. Now if I balance games and my hobbies i get more enjoyment out of both. Good luck soju

  • @yihsien1112
    @yihsien1112 11 місяців тому

    It's not that TFT is the only thing you enjoy, but because you're so good at it you don't want to give it up and try something else. The feeling of being "not good enough" on any other games/hobbies make you want to retreat back to your comfort zone. I used to be a hardcore Dota2 player in the Immortal bracket, and let's be honest, playing the same game over and over again in a highly competitive environment isn't fun. Embrace the urge to explore something else and don't be afraid to start from zero again.

    I go to the gym roughly 5-6 times a week. When lost ark jumpstart servers released, it affected me career and hobby wise. And I’m not even getting paid to play it.
    I can’t imagine what it’s like for soju to be paid to be addicted to a game. I know I wouldn’t leave my room either if I was in his position. I think at the very least soju you should be eating healthy or taking a few walks a a week, it seems like you got finances and good friends down.

There’s many things outside tft that are fun to do especially with friends.

    Soju, It really saddened me to hear your intro in the beginning. I've been gaming for about 20 years ever since I was 5. (I'm 25 y/o now) Once I stopped gaming I felt the same way. It's obviously a different situation because you were able to turn yours into a career and I didn't. But back when I used to play League 16 hours a day when I was 15, outside of that was just empty. 10 years later I'm still rehabilitating myself socially, economically, and physically. The advice I have for you is to try the gym, go out and socialize with people who don't play videogames, see the world for more than just gaming. I understand that you do this for a living but life is so much more and it took me long to realize this. Gaming actually took away from a lot of opportunities and experiences I could have had. I hope you can find yourself outside of gaming brother!

    i personally love your streams ! most entertaining tft player to watch, though if i could recommend you a couple of things for fun. Having a ping pong table ! Golf is also a nice way to go outside or just going to the park to play a sport, basketball or volleyball can be played both inside or outside i think what matters is the company of people. 🫶🏽 From a fan
