@@user-iz1mc3od3q yes, unless you can somehow grab the button and put it back into place from the outside, you will most likely have to pull the radio head unit out to access it from the back.

@@kukuhpanduwicaksana6242 The clock is a part of the radio head unit, I don’t believe it can be replaced separately without disassembling the whole thing.

Can a screen from a 450h be swapped into the 350

@@fastlyferacing you would need to check with the dealership parts department to see if the part numbers are the same. If they are not, there is a good chance it won’t work even if they look the same.

I install a radio stereo head unit in my 2010 Lexus 350 but the SRS air bag light came on, please can you help me see how this goes off or any idea how this can be fixed. Thanks

I'll probably be doing this. My stereo is constantly on. All the buttons stopped working, The volume can't turn up or down but all steering wheel function are working perfectly. Or could it be the 12v battery?

Viktor, can you provide any trouble shooting for a Black screen on a 2012 RX350, Radio and Bluetooth still works, back-up Camera works but the screen is black and then starts flickering. I replaced the NAV-drive box that is down in the bottom of the dash with a used one, exact same problem is still present....Could it be something else in the head-unit that is not functioning as the Radio, Bluetooth and AUX functionality still works fine.
Any advice would be MUCH appreciated.

Normally, the whole radio head unit needs to be replaced to fix this issue.

@@Viktor_G_Automotive Thanks for the prompt response Viktor. Lexus offers a Reman of the Head-unit? I think the OEM is $3-4k replacement cost from what I remember...
Thanks in advance for your expertise and guidance.

@@forceds4 check with your dealership, they usually have a remanufactured head unit exchange program, and there are also 3rd party places online that fix them.

Good video, however like many such videos consider your skill level before you tackle a radio/AC/Control removal. Why? If you pull on the various panels with too much force or with the wrong leverage, you might break them. When removing the 4 10mm bolts that hold the radio in place they are challenging to get to and easily dropped never to be found. Also, the connectors require a little skill to safely unfasten. The center console is a little tricky to reinstall. If you take your time, all within the realm of a novice or skilled DIY'er type. If you are a NEWBIE ask yourself "why are you taking your radio out"? Is it really worth your time and risk to save a few hundred dollars? A failed radio is a ONE TIME repair. Sometimes it actually might be worth having a professional shop remove and replace your radio. A replacement (part) from Lexus is about $1,600 - $2,000. If you plan to get the radio repaired, your car may be sitting for a week or two waiting for a repair. (if it is actually repaired, when returned).
My comments are not intended for seasoned DIY'ers but a caution to a person with little skills who might want to save a few hundred dollars and end up costing them a hell of a lot more, not to mention the crap their wives or mother in laws will give them!
(Regarding the 4 10mm bolts...use your socket wrench and get them very loose, then take a magnet pick-up tool to turn the bolts out completely. When reinstalling I attached the bolts to the magnet pick-up tool with painters tape for good measure. No lost bolts. Of course if you have a magnetic 10mm socket, you should be golden)

Some unnecessary work was done here, you did not have to open up anything left of the wheel.

to those those who mention an easier way...those ways avoid the steps in removing the panel under the steering wheel. However, removing that panel, as Viktor shows, makes removing the 4 10mm bolts much easier. IMO
