Zuhair Murad's heroines, for the haute couture fall winter 2015 collection, enter in a new dimension. Inspired by the poetry of a new contemporary, architecture and volume collide to form the foundation of a landmark collection that redefines luxury and seduction for the modern woman.
Form-fitting sheaths, willowy ball-gowns cut on the bias, full ballerina dresses, and perfectly tailored separates reign supreme this season. Bold cuts, asymmetric draping and pleating define a new type of silhouette that merge a traditional hand with a forward-thinking approach. Further, sensuality arrives via a large backless gown, the sheerness of a slouchy waist, or the heightened stature of a towering shoulder.
In perfect harmony with these architectural constructions are intensely radiant bejeweled tones: emerald, sapphire, black diamond, multicolored topaz, tourmaline, moonstone, and silver create a dreamlike sense of eternity - a stunning basis for boldly assumed chic.
Chiffon and crêpe de soie act as flawless foundations of the most majestic movements; tulle, organza, geometric lace and doupion silks add glamour to the female form, bearing to create a flawless dialogue between severity and exquisite pleasure, guaranteeing a genuine sense of serenity that goes far deeper than what lies on the surface.

This is edgier than Elle Saab, even though I love his collection as well. Murad's wedding gown looks lighter than Saab's and just as elaborate. Saab's wedding gown model struggled a little. At least this model was totally owning it. I love everything!!!!!

Bravo! Bravo! Zahair Murad should be better known but he's probably well heeled in the royal zone...Great art work...more for framing on a wall then for wearing...most of the girls (models) with there gold digging facades and princess wear were very stiff...and the music was terrible...not walking music...the colours were radiant..esp. those purple-pinkish colours...and those cape outfits...marvelous! 👏" 👏" 👏" Bravo! Best collection, thus far.
lordd this collection is filled from replicas of other brands.
gown at 1:50 basically the same as a versace one except that one was with a feathered train circa FW11 i believe, the look that follows is also giving me strong Atelier Versace vibe, 2:21 could easily be the same dress featured in Cavalli SS14. 3:31 literally the same gown Blake Lively wore to Cannes which was Gucci but he gave his copy some embellishment, and of course lots of elie saab - like dresses. Overall there was simply nothing new in this collection, he has zero creativity.
I can't help but agree. Its like an awkward sense of fashion deja vu :-/. I usually admire his collections but I feel an absence of captivation on this one.
I hope you're not suggesting that there's anything unique or fresh about Versace or Gucci. There's too much repetitiveness all around. The shows in Paris, Milan and New York (both couture and RTW) have been yawn-inducing duds for some time now. Frankly I look to Asia if I want fresh ideas in fashion.
If he wasn't original you won't see him on the runways.

adoring the collection, music and all except for the shoes, they are so mediocre in general and especially combined with these exceptional clothes they seem so cheap
I didn't notice that Murad adorned his models in elegant wraps but the african models are pasted with cheap ones.. WOW! l didnt notice this before. Shame on you, Murad. Would you dress your daughters like that?
have to say some models are terribly too thin... looks like their fragile arms are going to break if I just hit them by mistake... and tiny pelvis and skinny legs... some are too much! just like walking chopsticks.... (need to gain weight to have some volume on the dress)
I think thin models look better than meaty models on the walk ....just my honest opinion...l recenty saw a show with plus size models...sorry it wasn't the same...even the walk was not graceful but l do like to see them wearing the fur stuff.
