    I was on holiday at the Haven site opposite where they found it on that day,i can remember watching them lift it out!!! I went to the museum on Portland to have a close look at it!!!!!

    That looks like a Highball. In the 1980s I found an Upkeep bomb in the Fleet that we recovered back to RNAS Portland. Does anyone know what happened to that bomb and where it is today?
    The Upkeep was cylindrical, and designed for the Dambuster raid whereas the Highball was an anti ship weapon (I believe) and spherical.
