The orange colour of these trees is stunning! Wow! What a jewel of a trail. Japan’s trees are the Best. I hope you brought a a perfect orange leaf back home to remind you? Superb filming.
Thank you, I was pleasantly surprised by the colors along this river as they were a bit further along than the trees down at lower elevations. I wonder how long the trail continues in seasons when the grass is a bit less wild. A very nice river and forest indeed.
A beautiful walk amid the fall's colors, like out of a painting, except that the sound of rushing water reminds you of the waking moment. Mind you steps near the edges, the brown leaves tapestry can be treacherous. Does it snow here? Would you come back for a glance when everything turns white and the water icy? Thank you.
Thank you, and yes I think it does snow a bit on this mountain but I'm not sure if I will be able to visit during the winter. The road up is steep, narrow, curvy, and at least last winter it was closed. It seems some small roads like the one here are difficult to maintain during the winter so they are closed for safety reasons. I am definitely scouting and making mental notes on interesting and accessible areas when the snow comes, so hopefully there will be some snowy river walks in the not too distant future☃️
