I know how Sidge feels about Cena. I feel it every time Sidge opens his mouth. Some of the worst moments of my life. See how over dramatic that is? He doesn't hate it, he loves it. How else can he be an angry little troll all the time over fictional characters?
My prediction in the Summerslam match between Cody v Solo is that Jacob Fatu helps solo and then Roman returns to help Cody. Idk though might be too early
I think it really made Drew look stupid, to not expect Punk to show up in the first place is bad enough but especially after he announced his intentions regarding cashing in in advance. That's just an open invitation. I think booking wise Drew has been screwed over so many times that he needs to absolutely destroy Punk when they actually have a match, but I don't see it happening as this will be Punk's first feud since returning to WWE so I'm not really sure where this is going
What Sidge have liked the match more if it were the Okada, Jack Perry and the Bucks instead of the Bloodline? Not everything is about high-flying wrestling and move after move. Enjoy the story, if you can, because we will miss it when it ends. We will want to relive it or re-watch it on UA-cam. Can that be said about anyone in AEW except for MJF?
So this man just thought Americans would have a crazy name for belly flop thats like Americans surprised yall call it a belly flop and not putting canned baked beans on a baked potato wtf
The Punk/Drew feud is just completely out of balance now tbh. There’s nothing drew can do to “win” this feud. He’s literally been robbed of the world title THREE times by Punk. Even if they had him squash Punk, it’s not been worth it for him.
Have them fight when Punk comes back, Punk wins, they part ways. Punk goes on to win the World title. Drew becomes irate, 2nd match for the title, Drew wins. Later on 3rd match last man standing, Drew wins and his revenge is complete.... Skipped all the builds, but those are the bones.
Drew should loose out of his own anger getting in the way, then loose again by DQ because he’s so angry. He needs to then go away and reflect, get over Punk, forgive the past and make amends and then he can defeat punk and end the fued
@@stevenmatthews9746 agreed. what this is all doing is setting up Drew to have a nice long babyface run when he finally wins the title for real at the next clash at the castle in scotland, my guess is late 2025
My issue with Punk interference is it just makes NO sense timing wise. How could he have possibly know that drew would a) win and b) cash in there and then? And what, he flew to Canada and waited around just in case? He should have cost him the briefcase and put another name in the title picture. Ridiculous. Other than that, not a bad ppv at all
@@thethedeanshow but all that does it crap on the other 5 competitors. Why not ruin drews chance of EVER getting the title rather than ruin the hope of 5 others. Plus, he had no idea he was actually going to win it. And had no way to know he was gonna cash in. It makes no sense
For once I agree with Sidge. Cena was only successful b/c little kids liked his super hero booking. That being said, Cena did end the insufferable, years long era of HHH championship reins and main events.
Man, I really wanted to like this podcast but Sidge and his incredible amount of negativity about everything, just really makes it an insufferable listen.
I’m with Sidge on this one. Cena was never good to me. The odd good match here and there but never consistent. My absolute least favorite thing was whenever he lost he would immediately roll out of the ring after the 3 count. There’s only a few times I can recall he didn’t do it but when he lost he did it. Way to undersell what you couldn’t kick out of John.
That give me the impression of "don't let the images of your opponent's celebration show you lying on the mat" so that makes me question, was he going into business for himself or was that a VKM directive?
1:08:54 I completely agree with Sidge in that we should always maintain So-Low expectations of this pitiful wrestler!! He might as well retire immediately since he is going to be no better than the Shockmaster
Honestly couldn't agree more with Sidge about Cena. I don't like anything about Cena as a wrestler, I have never believed virtually anything about him as a human and I look forward to not missing him after his little retirement tour is mercifully done.

Cena will retire on Dec 2025 after 30-40 dates during the year. Explained at the press conference
I wanna see Finn paying the ref in the background of raw tonight so we can say it's not a boch

2006, 2007 Cena would've got a better match out of Andre than Hogan did.
Cena said in the press conference that he’s going to do January-December
What's with all the William Regal hate at whatculture? Always taking digs at him.
You have no right to say someone is a good or bad wrestler until you've actually done it yourself
Don't ever criticize any politician then since you haven't been one. Don't complain about the podcast since you don't have one.
So only directors can be movie critics
