In case you guys only remembered how anakin "randomed" his way during that tournament.. Let me give you a little refresher on what went down when anakin went back to korea later that year. He got his ass whooped and cannot beat some regular average players. He's too predictable after a few sets. Knee worked around it like a genius.

Jack is a random character and he just played a way that required the both of them to play differently from koreans, because to be honest, anakin played like a scrub. And to beat a scrub you need to play differently. They didnt lose in a deathmatch. They lost 1 match each that's all. Now that they know what anakin can do is only scrub his way with jack, they can play him and beat him any way they way if anakin came along again. Reality is harsh.
I mean you do the math. The probability obviously isn't in the Koreans' favor. Same can be said for the top Japanese players that come over here expected to win every time, which is rather unfair.
but very little in defense is undervalued there is is no defense when your in the ground I mean come on same old escapes and same old wake up attacks when you get up that area never been improved.
Tournaments are half luck eitherway. You don't see Daigo winning all the time. Sure, Knee's beaten Anakin more than Anakin's beaten him, but it doesn't necessarily mean Knee is always better than Anakin, or vice versa. Come tournament play, it's anyone game with a bit of luck. It's like all these Texas scrubs claiming they have the best Tekken scene just because Kor won against the Koreans twice, yet 3 Koreans have to go against hundreds of Americans at their tourneys.
nah anakin is very a good player. there are few american players i enjoy to watch; anakin, fab and gm. they are very good if u watch closely. specially their poking is fuckin annoying. they all have enough skills to beat koreans. even knee nin holeman and jdcr said so. but i wouldnt say they are better than these koreans.
I must say, that the stages that look like they came straight out of Mirror's Edge, I am in LOVE with!!
