My queen the mangaka or author JoJo's bizarre adventure has come out and stay there so much animal abuse in JoJo's bizarrebecause he feels like the easiest way to make people truly hate a character is to have them harm an innocent animal and the results speak for themselves
Fun fact about Hol Horse: The author originally intended for him to join the Joestar group (there's even an illustration of them together in the manga), but decided against it because: a) It wouldn't have made much sense to make Entire Equine switch sides so soon after getting rid of the member he'd be replacing, much less the rest of the group accepting him. b) Complete Equestrian's personality is way too similar to Polnareff's, so he would've been seen as redundant despite having different abilities. Also, don't resist the good ol' JoJo Engrish. Accept it. Enjoy it.
I remember on my first viewing, for a brief moment, I thought Joseph might actually be defeated by that weird stand. In other shows, his odds for survival would appear much more obvious.
@@QueenBlaze just a question, are you considering ever reading the manga after, I can't speak for everyone but I'd watch you read it live definitely. Though I'm not sure what your plan is.
Polnareff is the one in the group who feels the most weight of Abdul’s loss. I love them both, and the whole group, including the one crusader we have yet to meet. Even though he’s still a terrible flirt; that’s part of his character. He can go into turbo-flirt mode even while coping with a harrowing loss. Unless it’s part of how he deals with his losses? He’s complicated.
Catching up! I'm watching all your reactions, and I know Im missing alot, but still...this is the only way possible for me to catch up. Can't wait for the next video 🙂
fun fact some of the stands in this part are based on horror movie monsters, ebony devil is chucky from childs play, yellow temparence is the blob, wheel of fortune is a reference to the movie duel and later in the part 3 theres a stand with Freddy Kruger powers
so... with Empress, and the user Nene. there are no references used for either of them, It could be more like Araki wanted to give fans the old Joseph Joestar from part 3 his time to shine. and I will admit, it was a brilliant play As for Wheel of Forture and it's user ZZ (named after the Band ZZ top) the Car itself is based on a series of muscle cars in the 60's and 70's. While the stand itself is inspired by the horror films "Duel" and "Christine" in where the car of both films murders people. It's also interesting to note that ZZ top's songs are mostly about cars. or doing activities on cars.
OHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOO Also, just remember that there was some time between the hol horse encounter/avdols death and this episode, so there was some time to grieve
O.K., I’m about to drop an essay on you, so please just stick with me: Part 3 was unfortunately the victim of the time period it came out. Araki, the creator of JoJo, was still experimenting with what he wanted the series to be. As he would later come to realize, he prefers writing battles where the main character isn’t always the one who has to save the day, you know, where the side characters can actually be of some assistance, rather than narrating the fights. He prefers to write more cerebral fights, where each and every character has to think carefully about their next move, and we see their thought process, rather than fights where the strongest punch wins. However, before part 4, he was still trying to find his voice as an author, so parts 1 to 3 suffer from the narrative problems that were extremely common in manga at the time, those issues being that the main character was always an invincible super badass, who would walk away with a clean victory, regardless of how much blood he’s lost. Araki was clearly almost there in part 2, he came so close to understanding what he preferred to do with fights, but he basically reset his path to self-discovery with the introduction of stands. His clear lack of fully understanding what he had created with stands (most evident by how Joseph calls them a form of hamon in the manga, and established that breathing is important to use stands, all of which is almost immediately dropped as a rule for stands), he reverted back to what he was most comfortable with, the classic shonen archetype of an invincible badass. Now that’s not to say that part 3 has no merits as a part, it’s simply that it could have been SO much better, had Araki been more confident in his preferred way to write fights and characters, at the time. I mean, you’ll even see in part 4, Araki adds a lot of retroactive character development to Jotaro, to make him less of a Gary Stu, and more of the type of in-depth character he prefers to write. But again, this doesn’t mean that Jotaro isn’t fun or interesting in part 3, and that doesn’t mean part 3 isn’t enjoyable. It just means that with the context of later parts in mind, going back to rewatch part 3 was a much more enjoyable experience, since it gave better context to a lot of moments. Hopefully that all makes sense. It probably didn’t, but I tried.
I wouldn't say araki went back to what he was comfortable with or that he resets, it's just that stands was a new thing he created so of course there would be problems, but just saying that he went bact to being comfortable or resetting is just wrong
At first I thought it was creepy that she was 15 and had a crush on Jotaro, but then I remembered that Jotaro was 17, and there wasn’t a big age gap even though it looked like there was one.
If you haven’t noticed, a lot of the stands from early part 3 are direct horror movie references. Chucky Jaws Christine (Steven king haunted car movie) Etc.
Lowkey spoiler: The thumbnail reminded me of the true most bizarre adventure, which was the fight of Annasui vs Ungalo's stand, that was sick, and not in a good way, even tho I enjoyed it a lot. Who else remembers? That thing could give anyone nightmares :')
