⚡ 💕 / 💃 Tak Matsumoto is the guitarist on the studio track. His group B'z are best selling artists in Japan. This music video had the studio audio with footage from the LA Forum concert in October 2019 (their first arena show in the USA), and one of the Osaka Jo Hall concerts from November. Supporting dancers were Momoko Okazaki (USA - octagonal stage) and Riho Sayashi (Japan - trangular stage). I was at the LA Forum show where the song had its world debut. That was the album release show for 'Metal Galaxy', the third studio album. Yes, we were losing our minds when the song started. : )
Anything less than losing your minds would have been uncivilized and rude. This brings up a question: You obviously know a lot of western bands will tell the crowd "this is new" or "this is the world debut", or generally chat up the crowd a little either between each song or every couple. Does Su, or do they just go through the songs and do the audience interaction during them only? Did they announce it was new or the world debut? Just interested in the structure of their performances since it's going to be awhile before they come back to the states with how things are going...again, as you know!
@@mr.osclasses5054 They don't do what is sometimes referred to as "MC". The lead singer does get the crowd to make a bigger circle pit, to clap their hands, or to scream and shout. But they don't really do any chatting between songs. The only way to know that a song is a new one is to either recognize it when it starts, or to notice the people around you freaking out. : ) They use projections and narrations to set the mood at the beginning of some songs. At the end of the concert they'll often thank the audience for coming to see them.
@@rickwagner- Ah, ok. It is really interesting to get a feel for their shows without actually having attended one yet. I wonder if it is more the language barrier, although Su has definitely gotten better over the years from what I have heard of her in interview videos, or if it more they figure you paid for the performance, not to be talked to? Could be a bit of both, though, I suppose. Thanks, as always, for the assist.
@@mr.osclasses5054 From what I've read in interviews, it seems like BABYMETAL's producer Koba associates MC or crowd banter with Idol groups. Also, in terms of performing on stage, Su, Yui and Moa all have very serious attitudes, and joking with the audience isn't really something their personalities are well suited for.
@@rickwagner- That is a good point I hadn't equated in yet regarding their attitudes on stage, and I didn't know that about Koba, although it makes sense. However, I didn't necessarily mean joking around, I just meant like the MC-ing of things. Even still, I get what you're saying.
Loving your reactions fella🎵🦊🔊📣🔊I'm just wondering if you are ready for Babymetal death legend 1997 🤔 I don't know if you could handle it 🤔🦊🤣🤣🤣🤣🎵🎵🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
4:24 Take it higher? Sure... 5:34 Too far up? No, let's go higher... 6:01 Take you higher? Naaa, let's tilt sideways to knock you off balance... 6:21 (... ... ... not for the faint of hearts) 6:42 That sums it up just about right :)
The song is pretty poppy (as could be expected from the title), but in BABYMETAL's case that's not a bad thing. They have often used this as the opening song recently, and it certainly gets your blood flowing.
Thank you for posting this great beat! All elements of this beat sound amazingly well done. Have subscribed and liked! Would be nice if you can check out my channel too! 🎧 Aziron 🎹
Good reaction mate If you like Ska try "Yava" If you like styles mix up try "Iine" If you like dubstep - "Uki Uki Midnight" and still you not watch "Megitsune" official MV - it is a shame :)))
Im new to your channel since yesterday night bro , good reactions my guy .. keep up the good work bro , but u should really react to parasite eve by bring me the horizon
I like Baby Metal but I found this one boring. I highly recommend "Gimmie Chocolate" It is way more metal and less baby. It also shows the backing band.

Thanks for another great vid.
I didn't like this song at first, but now it's my favorite! The best part is indeed the part where Moa is in the middle.
I can't say I have a favorite, but I feel that Da Da Dance is underrated between the fans, and it doesn't deserve it.
Baby metal - Akatsuki , a great song you should react to
Moa says this is dance metal!
