What Elba said is true, sierra leone is very difficult to bring investors. One reason for this is the past war , Ebola, mudslide, all this playing in the mind of investors. 2 , the negative things that come from sierra leoneans in the social media about the country does not help either. 3, the sanitation of our city is another turn off. 4, mindset of citizens when they talk about the country as if our country is the worst place to live. If we can change this type of behaviour them we have a big chance to turn things around. Especially with the new airport.

We also have to say positive things about our country, when I hear the negative things said about our country , it make me feel sick , but when I look at the suffering of our people I still carry on the fight to put smile on those people I come across. Many foreigners I come across from different countries always ask which country you from,? I am always proud to call the name of our country sierra leone 🇸🇱., the respond I get after mentioning our country, is the negative part that come out first. With all the bad things about our country. Our leaders can do as much as they can, but we the citizens have the responsibility protect our country image both home and abroad.

Idriss Elba is a Sierra Leonean but the truth is, in my opinion, he loves ghana more than Sierra leone. Edris Elba has been one of my favorite Hollywood actors despite before I know him as a Sierra Leonean. I like him, I don't have any hate for him, and I pray that his dreams and plans for mama salone come to pass. Amen
This may be true but probably only because Ghana is ahead of us in terms of development so it is simply easier and faster to get things done in Ghana. With that being said, I do see Sierra Leone improving little by little and we are trying to catch up. Idris will definitely invest in Sierra Leone when the time is right as he said.

Looking back over years l blame our politicians they have not down the job we the People voted them in to do and it's not just Sierra Leone right across Africa l wish idriss and others well to bring investment and improve the image

Is he implying that if the situation was reversed that we would be in a better socioeconomic position as a people? If so, what is his presupposition to the implied conclusion? Mind you that we do in fact have a plethora of micro and comparative macro investments that are already in the country that have been there for some time now. Yet, from a grand scheme of things we have yet to see any significant material change in the lives of the people.
