Mrs Carlton you have done the impossible it's so rare that an artist with such big hits as yours when you first started, to come back as strong as you did with this song is unheard of. Please let Adam Duritz steal a page from your notebook, Show him how it's done. I love the older counting crows I which they could make a come back like you have. Maravellous lyrics and really good composition, but I still don't get used to that change of tone in "Wanna love you right". However, I think i must listen to it more often to get myself into the full meaning and complexity of the song. I think it's a really interesting evolution in Vanessa's bright carrer, although I hope there is more piano included in the other songs. Good Job, Nessa :).

The lyrics and melody are on par with the rest of Vanessa's catalogue of songs, but I keep finding myself distracted from the backing echo in the vocals of the song. "Young Heart" sounds so much more lively and heartfelt when performed live with just Vanessa's natural voice singing. I still like the track, though, and look forward to Liberman.
