They should have turned. My friend was in The Voice process and was told what to wear and what to sing. I'm not sure it's not pre-determined who goes through which takes the fun out of it, let alone it's not fair.
I just have this feeling that all four judges felt that they had nothing left to teach Richard. His voice wasn't "potential", it was already something great. So mentorship is just not the right thing for a voice that great. If my feeling is actually fact, then it's sad and angry to see why they didn't just say something like that.
I think the judges were being rude and fickle. He was amazing so not to have one chair turn was just ridiculous but when he was finished, to not turn around and say Hello, like they usually do when they don't turn for a singer, was just plain rude. I think they were embarrassed by their own behavior and could not face him.
What a shame that nobody turned around afterwards and spoke a good word to him even when they did not chose him. Richard sang very well, and they could have told him why they did not like his performance.
If they turn it is to indicate that they are interested in coaching him, nothing to do with them giving him prise for his excellent performance, they are looking for someone who has the potential but needs coaching, I do not think that Richard would take being coached by someone else,, and tbh he does not need it.

So - He’s a professional singer. - Won Britain’s Got Talent. - Had a number 1 song. and no one turns for him, but the next act (Harrison James) was not even close in comparison gets a four chair turn… the show’s rigged, I thought it was a talent show, specifically called The Voice about the vocal. There has too be some element off rigging within the production.
Ofc it's rigged, just like "Nationality" got Talent. Contestants have to audition for a casting crew before they even get to do it for the real jury. That's what I hate about these "entertainment" shows. The production team lets through people who they know don't stand a chance just so they can be ridiculed on TV. Imagine hearing the casting crew say "Congratulations! You've gone through!" just to later, in front of the audience, hearing..."You suck!"
Firstly, it’s not rigged - as someone on this season, who knows Richard from Brighton prior to the show and also who knows Harrison, maybe you should keep your uneducated opinions to yourself.
@@rhys-christianmobsby6075 my comment isn’t anything to with being “uneducated” or not. It was a simple comment stating how a singer who is clearly good enough to have previously won a big tv talent show such as Britain’s Got Talent (as show that is much bigger than the voice and actually produces famous contestants) should get at least one chair turn from the coaches, compared to someone like Harrison, who without any disrespect, his vocal wasn’t strong enough to get all four coaches to turn their chairs. Richard probably had to tell the producers on the voice that he won BGT, in a group called Collabro, which they probably wouldn’t want him to win the entire show because in some peoples eyes, Richard could be deemed as a professional singer.
@@MFC-er4dd you can’t say “no disrespect” and then go on to disrespect someone. Harrison has thing Richard will never have, just like Richard has things Harrison will never have. It’s luck on the night and dependant on what each coach is looking for. It’s nothing to do with Richard’s previous win - we had west end performers, church choir leaders etc on our season who were all given a chance. Don’t speculate and say the show is rigged when you have absolutely no idea what you’re talking about, and actively diminish the efforts of those who DID get through because one of your favourites didn’t.
@@rhys-christianmobsby6075 Let’s be honest here and look at the how as a TV show and a business. The show wants to have contestants who can appeal to what is popular in the music industry at that moment, which will draw in views and make money. The producers can control and edit the contestants clips how ever they want. The producers can also tell a singer to sing a specific song to appeal to a mass audience. If the show is called “The Voice” then the stronger singers should get through (with both Richard and Harrison are both strong singers in their own right). It just seems little bit questionable when the acts that got turned away from this specific episode were stronger singers than someone who got a four chair turn.
