Onanuga is correct. Nigeria is very poor in leadership. The lacuna in the constitution has tied down a lot of things. There are 43 mineral deposit in Kogi state alone, yet the capital is an eyesore. Obasanjo was more concerned about his 3rd term bid when he was in power rather than for him to lobby the National Assembly to amend the constitution. Nigeria is going nowhere with that document.
I think it was in 1990, Venezuela and Nigeria were predicted to be one of the richest countries by the 2000s. Now Venezuela and Nigeria are almost in a similar situation. Countries so blessed yet destroyed by Corruption. Nigeria is definitely becoming Venezuela for sure.
