A few weeks before you uploaded this video [Basically a month before] Rescue 2 got it's new Rig, still an amazing video as this rescue in the video is now retired.
Those new Rescue Trucks are amazing! I'm glad I was able to catch the brand new R4 back in September. I heard this rig is out of service because of an accident? :/
@@Firescue112 For now yeah, unsure on how serious it is. But I'm also unsure if it's gonna even return back in service. There's a video on Technocardy's channel I believe and West Coast Canada's on the accident scene so.
Thank you, Jimmy! Honestly, I waited hours at the Downtown stations, they were incredibly quiet. Those 5 minute compilation is the result of two days filming in the city centre! Well, I was also able to catch a water rescue response at station 6 which will make a single video, BUT it was way more easy to get good shots at other stations in the city 😆
That's the fun thing about some bigger North American cities. Maybe in one neighbourhood you have your typical american suburb, in another it feels like Victorian-Europe and in the next place you feel like you're in China! I love it honestly :D
@@FirePhoenixEmergencyVideos Yes, but I think that only happens in the really big metropolis cities :D I mean, Denver for example is not the smallest town with 700K people living in the city itself and about 3 million in the metropolitan area - but it's all american :D
@@Firescue112 Oh yeah for sure (that's why I said some haha :P). Actually only the east and west coasts really have these kinds of cities, if you go to central Canada or US there really isn't much diversity (but still lots of cool fire departments) :D
PA300 Dual Siren sorry im a bit late, but yeah idk what variation of the PA300 but if u search that you might find the identical one just non-dual. Im 1 year late sorry
Depends on the call type. For example I caught a Heavy Rescue responding to a high angle rescue in Downtown Denver: ua-cam.com/video/cooX09B2T0E/v-deo.html
start with applying to their application process on the city of calgary website, they usually open up to new applicants in june/july. doesnt hurt to start training with weights and cardio as well. as long as you are a canadian citizen or a landed and documented immigrant living in canada you should be able to apply.
@@Gencturk92 Calgary is a relatively new city compared to the ones of old in the UK having been founded in 1875. Its a beautiful city with lots of parks and two rivers flowing through it fed by glaciers in the mountains nearby. People here are very nice and open to travellers and new people. The city consistently ranks Among the cleanest cities in the world and has a young population considered to other Canadian cities. The mountains are an hour drive west of the city and dominates the skyline of the city.
@@iangraham6887 yeah i know I've been researching it for a very long time. I've been to Toronto in 2016, it was nice out there too but I always wanted to see Alberta, I mean the clean air, friendly people, landscapes, sunsets and especially banff and jasper, hope one day it will happen. I mean the sunsets and skyline just looks awesome, same in Saskatchewan. Is Alberta better than Vancouver BC ? now because of covid-19 im not sure if its going to be easy to immigrate out there, its going to take a hell a lot of paperwork etc. How's banff and jasper like ? the photos are magnificent
Beautiful catches!
Thank you! :)
Super stoked you got out to my city and we’re able to get some good videos!
Thanks! Four more videos from Calgary still to come! ;)

Splendid video mate, such a busy department with beautiful trucks! :D

Yikes, I will have to be prepared for that when I go there. Thanks for the heads up haha :D
I live a couple blocks from that first station. So loud all the time lol
So this is what woke me up this morning.
Love it, nice little compilation!
Thank you Liam! :)
Engine 6 has been moved to station 15, a new 2021 rig has replaced it in downtown!
I'm not a huge fan of top mount engines but Calgary has some beautiful ones.
Hey yeah, that's really my opinion too! :)
Can I use first clip for a tribute
Everybody is saved as the Hometown Heroes get awakened from their sleep in the fire hall and go to point a hose.
😎👍
Nice compilation! That city kinda look European.
Thank you! Do you think so? Yeah, maybe a bit. In general, Canada is more like Europe than the U.S.

3;17 das engine 2: ist das kein Squad (Rüstgruppe/Rüstwagen)?
Das ist nicht Engine 2, das ist Rescue 2 😊 und ja, das ist ein Rüstwagen 😉
Anyone know what sirens the Engines are using?
Too bad the budgets been cut. Now they wont respond fast enough when i go on my arson spree haha
Can i come help lmao
GammerGirl 123 No, Fuck Off
A heavy rescue truck is actually nearly impossible to see in downtown

I would like to be a firefighter in Calgary but I don't know where to start
