The older generation always said that a stitch in time saves nine and this maintenance work is very important. Trees close to houses or sheds can make work for you with leaves and branches coming off. You had the forklift fixed in time for these jobs...
Thanks Stephen. I love the trees but some of them are getting too close and too tall. A bit of pruning is required soon. Good to have the forklift back...best tool on the farm.
I done all the gutters on the farm about 2 weeks ago.. Fair play to you for making a good video out of a mind numbing task.. I certainty couldn't do it 😂
My first thought was does that machine have a safety valve to stop the forks dropping if I pipe bursts! Don't get me wrong we do the same ourselves but your putting yourself out there for the health and safety police 😂 the basket makes for a much more comfortable and easy job round the farm, keep the videos coming 👍
Thanks Stephen. Nope it does not, but its never going to drop like a stone even it has a burst pipe...dont ask how I know that. If I was to follow the H&S Police guidance, the safest thing would be to sit in the house and let it all fall in...then clean the gutters out when they are on the ground.😂. Basket chained to a newly serviced and overhauled forklift is much safer than the old ladder alternative. Thats what I'd tell the H&S Police!!👍👍
Wow that Orange pipe/ Gutter is some size serious job. mind me asking where you got it? all I can get my hands on is the regular galvanised one which seem to have a live expectancy of about 6 months!! (joking, but still don't last like they used to)
Might work doing same thing myself, them leaves make some mess, any plans for the old house, there's some kind of grants going down south for old houses
You want to try to going back to driving Bambi the crappy tractor !!! 😥 from a 3095 and 5S105 at harvest time 😊 at least the owner had common sense for red, not insanity. 🤔👍.
Good evening. Good to c the gutters being cleaned out before winter. That is a great big light you put on end of shed. Great video again

Thanks for your concern Alan.
By your own rules, shouldn’t you have waited until the end of the video?
