Great video and illustration especially on how to remove the door and melting a hole through the remainder of the tab. Just finished mine with the only difference being to crack open the door sandwich starting from the hinge side to prevent damage to the visible edge.

I did mine a little diffrent my wouldn't come apart so I just cut the back out just the area we're the locking mech is and plastic welded it back in place works great. U will break the door if u try to pull it apart.

i used jb weld and added couple drops on spring end just to enforce that spot so it does not brakes again
